| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama perendaman rumput lapang menggunakan asam jawa terhadap kadar logam Cd dan kadar bahan organik. Dengan menggunakan metode eksperimental, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Riset Terpadu dan Laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) sedangkan analisisnya menggunakan analisis ragam. Perlakuan yang di uji adalah lama waktu perendaman larutan asam jawa 50%, yaitu R0= 0 menit; R1= 30 menit; R¬2= 60 menit; dan R¬3= 90 menit dengan lima kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rataan kadar logam kadmium (Cd) pada R0= 73,54 ppb; R1= 62,97 ppb; R2= 55,55 ppb; dan R3= 33,63 ppb. Rataan bahan organik adalah R0= 20,82%; R1= 20,78%; R2= 20,74%; dan R3= 20,75%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa lama perendaman rumput lapang menggunakan larutan asam jawa berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kadar logam kadmium (Cd) namun tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kadar bahan organik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perendaman selama 90 menit dengan konsentrasi 50% dapat menurunkan kadar Cd sebesar 54,28%. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The study aimed to determine the effects of soaking field grass within tamarind on the levels of cadmium and organic material contents. Using experimental methods, the experiment had been conducted at the Feedstuff Laboratory of Animal Science Faculty of Jenderal Soedirman University. It was designed within a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) whose data were analyzed by using an analysis of variance. The treatments, which were different durations of soaking field grass by using Tamarind solution of 50%, consisted of R0= 0 minutes, R1= 30 minutes, R2= 60 minutes, and R3= 90 minutes each of which was replicated five times. The results of the research showed that, according to the treatments, the average values of cadmium (Cd) content were as follows: at R0= 73.54 ppb; R1= 62.97 ppb; R2= 55.55 ppb; and R3= 33.63 ppb. The average values of the organic matter were: R0= 20.82%; R1= 20.78%; R2= 20.74%; R3= 20.75%. The results of the analysis of variance showed that durations of the soaking highly significantly (P<0.01) affected the metal content of cadmium (Cd), but insignificantly affected (P>0.05) the levels of Organic Matter (OM). The research concludes that soaking field grass for 90 minutes at the concentration of 50% can reduce the levels of the metal cadmium (Cd) by 54,28%. |
