| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | PT. Madubaru merupakan salah satu pabrik gula yang mempunyai potensi dan peluang usaha untuk bisa dikembangkan menjadi perusahaan agroindustri berbasis tebu. Keputusan investasi harus dibuat dengan tepat agar memenuhi standar kriteria investasi. Oleh karena itu diperlukan jaminan bahwa usaha gula kristal putih layak dan memberikan keuntungan yang besar. Tujuan penelitian yaitu : 1) mengetahui gambaran umum usaha gula kristal putih dilihat dari aspek teknik dan produksi, manajemen dan SDM, ekonomi dan sosial, hukum dan dampak lingkungan, 2) menganalisis kelayakan usaha gula kristal putih dilihat dari aspek finansial; 3) menganalisis tingkat sensitivitas usaha gula kristal putih terhadap perubahan pada harga bahan baku, produksi gula, harga jual gula, harga bahan penolong, dan gaji tenaga kerja langsung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kasus. Pengambilan data dari 23 Februari sampai 7 Maret 2016. Analisis yang dilakukan yaitu analisis deskriptif meliputi aspek teknik dan produksi, aspek SDM dan manajemen, aspek ekonomi dan sosial, aspek hukum serta aspek lingkungan, dan analisis finansial yang digunakan adalah net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), dan analisis sensitivitas. Hasil analisis deskriptif dari aspek teknik dan produksi menyatakan bahwa perusahaan memiliki lokasi usaha yang strategis, adanya ketersediaan bahan baku, proses produksi secara mekanik, penggunaan teknologi mesin yang tepat dan layout yang sesuai. Penilaian dari aspek manajemen dan SDM, usaha gula kristal telah memiliki struktur organisasi dengan pembagian tugas dan tanggungjawab yang jelas. Penilaian dari aspek ekonomi dan sosial, usaha ini memberikan kontribusi pendapatan kepada petani mitra, membuka kesempatan kerja serta meningkatkan pendapatan daerah melalui pajak. Penilaian dari aspek hukum, usaha ini telah memiliki SIUP, NPWP, SPPKP, TDP, surat gangguan industri gula, dan surat ijin usaha industri untuk mengoperasikan usaha, dan dari aspek lingkungan, usaha ini tidak menghasilkan limbah yang membahayakan lingkungan. Hasil analisis finansial dari tahun 2010 sampai 2015 menunjukan usaha gula kristal putih layak untuk dilanjutkan dengan nilai NPV positif sebesar Rp246.132.137.094,58, IRR sebesar 340 persen lebih besar dari suku bunga (12 persen) dan Net B/C sebesar 25,61 lebih besar dari satu. Hasil analisis sensitivitas pada kenaikan harga bahan baku tebu 8,0 sampai 33 persen, penurunan produksi gula 4,0 sampai 19 persen, kenaikan harga jual gula 5,0 sampai 19 persen, kenaikan harga bahan penolong 8,0 sampai 359 persen, kenaikan gaji tenaga kerja langsung 7,7 sampai 350 persen, dan hasil kombinasi lima variabel menyatakan usaha gula kristal putih masih layak untuk dilanjutkan. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | PT. Madubaru is one of the sugar to company has potential and business opportunitiesthat can be developed into a company agroindustry based cane. The decision investment to be made with the right to meet the standard investment criteria. Therefore, necessary assurance that business is feasible and gives a greater advantage. The research aimed to: 1) obtain the general overview of the business of granulatedd sugar processing based on the aspect of technical and production, management and human resources, economic and social, legal and environmental impacts; 2) analyze the feasibility of granulated sugar processing based on financial aspects; 3) analyze the sensitivity of granulated white sugar business on the changes in the price of sugar cane, sugar production, the price of the sale of sugar, the price of the helper, and salary of labor immediately. This research uses case study method. The data collected on 23 February until 7 March 2016. Analysis used to descriptive analysis is aspects of techniques and production, human resources and management aspects, economic aspects and the social, legal and environmental aspects. Financial analyzes used is net present value (NPV), internal net return (IRR), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), and sensitivity analysis. Analysis of the descriptive seen for aspects of techniques and production state that company has a strategic business location, the availability of raw materials, production processes mechanically that produce sugar with high quality, appropriate use of engine technology and the corresponding layout. Assessment of the aspects of management and human resources, these efforts have had a division of tasks and responsibilities are clear. Asseeement of economic and social aspects, this business provides many benefits, as it can contribute to the income of farmers partners, able to open up employment opportunities and generate income through the payment of taxes. Assessment of the aspect of law , this business has to have a SIUP, NPWP, SPPKP, TDP, letter sugar industry interference, and industrial business license. Assessment of environmental aspect, these efforts do not produce waste that is harmful to the environment. The results of the financial analysis from 2010 to 2015 shows a positive NPV value of Rp246,132,137,094.58, IRR of 340 percent is greater than the interest rate (12 perceent) and Net B/C of 25,61more than one. The results of the sensitivity analysis on the increasing in sugarcane prices 8,0 to 33 percent, sugar production decrease of 4,0 to 19 percent, sugar selling price decrease of 5,0 to 19 percent, increasing in the maid price 8,0 to 359 percent, increasing in salary of labor immediately price 7,7 up to 350 percent, and the results of a combination of the five variables stated business is still feasible to continue. |
