| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji seberapa besar kandungan NDF dan ADF kulit polong kacang hijau yang diamoniasi dengan urea dan fermentasi dengan EM-4 dan molasses. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 25 April 2016 sampai dengan 08 Mei 2016 di Laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Dalam penelitian ini materi yang digunakan adalah kulit polong kacang hijau sebanyak 8.000 g, urea 90,5 g, EM-4 67,875 ml, molasses 67,875 ml, larutan detergen netral (NDS), 5 g sodium sulfit, larutan detergen asam (ADS). Seperangkat alat untuk analisis NDF dan ADF. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental dan rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis variansi dan diuji lanjut dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Sebagai perlakuan adalah R0= kulit polong kacang hijau tanpa perlakuan, R1= kulit polong kacang hijau amoniasi dengan urea 4%, R2= kulit polong kacang hijau fementasi dengan EM-4 1% dan molasses 1%, dan R3= kulit polong kacang hijau fementasi dengan EM-4 2% dan molasses 2%; dan lima kali ulangan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rataan kadar NDF R0= 73,673%, R1= 63,196%, R2= 66,048%, dan R3= 67,028%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rataan kadar ADF R0= 52.476%, R1= 47,708%, R2= 50,806%, dan R3= 51,444%. Hasil analisis variansi menujukkan bahwa bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kadar NDF dan ADF. Hasil Uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan R1, R2, dan R3 sangat nyata lebih rendah dibandingkan R0, perlakuan R1 nyata lebih rendah dibandingkan R3, perlakuan R1 tidak nyata lebih rendah dibandingkan R2, dan perlakuan R3 tidak nyata lebih rendah dibandingkan R2. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa amoniasi menggunakan urea 4% dapat menurunkan kadar NDF dan ADF kulit polong kacang hijau. Sedangkan fermentasi menggunakan EM-4 dan molasses dengan kadar masing-masing 1% dan 2% menurunkan kadar NDF dan ADF yang sama besarnya.

Inggris) | This research aimed to examine the NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber) dan ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber) of green bean shells that were ammoniated with urea and were fermented with EM-4 and molasses. This research had been conducted from April 25th to May 8th 2016 at the Laboratory of Animal Feed Stuff, Faculty of Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The research materials were 8.000 g green bean shells, 90,5 g urea, EM-4 67,875 ml, molasses 67,875 ml, neutral detergen solution (NDS), 5 g sodium sulfit, acid detergen solution (ADS), a set of equipments to analisis the NDF and ADF. This experimental research was designed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The data was analyzed with an analysis of variance and in a futher test with the Honest Significant Different (HSD). The treatments were R0= green bean shells without treatment; R1= green bean shells ammoniated with urea 4%; R2= the shells fermented with EM4 1% and molasses 1%; R3= the shells fermented with EM-4 2% and molasses 2%; each of which was replicated five times. The results showed that the averages of NDF generated from the treatments were R0= 73,673%, R1= 63,196%, R2= 66,048%, and R3= 67,028%. That of ADF were R0= 52,476%, R1= 47,708%, R2= 50,806%, and R3= 51,444%. The analysis of variance showed that the treatments were highly significant (P<0.01) to NDF and ADF of the shells. The HSD test showed that the treartment R1, R2, and R3 were very significantly lower than R0, the treatmant R1 was significantly lower than R3, R1 was insignificantly lower than R2, and R2 insignificantly lower than R2. It can be concluded that ammoniation using urea 4% can descrease the levels of NDF and ADF of green bean shells. However, fermentation using EM-4 and molasses with level 1% and level 2% can descrease the levels of NDF and ADF.
