| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat konsentrasi asam jawa (Tamarindus indica L.) terhadap penurunan kadar timbal (Pb) dan kadar abu rumput lapang. Materi yang digunakan adalah rumput lapang yang diperoleh dari sepanjang jalan raya Desa Pageraji km. 25 Cilongok, Kab. Banyumas dengan jarak dari tepi jalan 1 meter. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode experimental dan dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan: R0= rumput lapang dan aquades, R1= rumput lapang dan larutan asam jawa 25%, R2= rumput lapang dan larutan asam jawa 50%, R3= rumput lapang dan larutan asam jawa 75% dengan perbandingan sama 1 : 10 (rumput : larutan) dan 5 kali ulangan. Data dianalisis dengan analisis ragam dan uji orthogonal polynomial. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa tingkat konsentrasi perendaman rumput lapang menggunakan asam jawa berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kadar timbal timbal (Pb) dan kadar abu. Perlakuan memberikan respon secara kurva linier dengan persamaan garis kadar timbal (Pb) Y= 0,42724 – 0,00228 X dan koefisien determinasi (R2)= 0,50. Persamaan regresi linier kadar abu Y= 2,4421 – 0,007 X dan koefisien determinasi (R2)= 0,81. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat konsentrasi perendaman rumput lapang menggunakan asam jawa selama 60 menit dengan konsentrasi 75% menunjukkan kadar timbal (Pb) dan kadar abu paling rendah. Kadar timbal (Pb) turun sebesar 42,48% dan kadar abu turun 20,40%. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research aimed to assess the concentration levels of tamarind (Tamarindus indica L.) to decrease the lead content (Pb) and ash content in the field grass. The research material was field grass obtained from the highway side of Pageraji at km. 25th, Cilongok, Banyumas, with a distance of 1 meter from road body. This experimental research was designed within a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments, i.e. R0= field grass and aquadest, R1= field grass and solution of tamarind 25%, R2= field grass and solution of tamarind 50%, and R3= field grass and solution of tamarind 75% with the same ratio of 1 : 10 (grass : solution), and 5 replications. The analysis of variance showed that the levels of tamarind concentrations had a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on the lead content (Pb) and ash content of the grass. The treatments provide a response in linear curve with a regression equation of lead content (Pb) Y= 0.42724 – 0.00228 X and a coefficient of determination (R2)= 0.50. The linear regression equation of ash content was Y= 2.4421 – 0.007 X and the coefficient of determination (R2)= 0.81. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the level of tamarind concentration of 75% for 60 minutes shows the lowest lead content (Pb) and ash content. The lead content (Pb) decreases by 42.48% and the ash content by 20.4%. |
