| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan bobot potong dan bobot non karkas dalam Sapi Peranakan Simmental dan Sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO). Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah sapi Peranakan Simmental sebanyak 26 ekor dan sapi PO sebanyak 26 ekor dengan umur 2 tahun dan jenis kelamin jantan di RPH Purwokerto. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Variabel yang diamati adalah bobot potong dan bobot non karkas dalam Sapi Peranakan Simmental dan Sapi PO. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji “t”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bobot non karkas dalam Sapi Peranakan Simmental terdiri dari 19,75±3,90 kg organ pencernaan, 4,18±0,04 kg paru-paru, 1,27±0,05 kg jantung, 2,20±0,05 kg hati, 1,75±0,22 kg trakhea. Bobot non karkas dalam Sapi PO 17,03±2,34 kg pencernaan, 4,12±0,05 kg paru-paru, 1,11±0,05 kg jantung, 2,13±0,06 kg hati, 1,61±0,11 kg trakeha. Bobot potong Sapi Peranakan Simmental 401,31±39,98 kg dan bobot potong Sapi PO 368,54±33,56k g. Hasil analisis uji t bobot potong dan bobot non karkas dalam Sapi Peranakan Simmental dan Sapi PO berbeda sangat nyata (P<0,01). Disimpulkan bahwa bobot potong Sapi Peranakan Simmental lebih tinggi 32,77 kg dari pada bobot potong Sapi PO dan bobot non karkas dalam Sapi Peranakan Simmental lebih tinggi 3,15 kg dari pada bobot non karkas dalam Sapi PO. |

Inggris) | The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in slaughter weight and internal non-carcass weight between those of Simmental crossbred bulls and of Ongole crossbred (PO) bulls. Using 26 Simmental crossbred bulls and 26 PO cattle all of which were 2 year old as the research materials, the experiment had been conducted at abatoir Purwokerto. The method used was a survey method. The variables were the slaughter weight and internal non-carcass weight of both kinds of bulls. The obtained data were analyzed by "t" test whose results showed that the non-carcass weight of Simmental crossbred bulls were as follows: 19.75 ± 3.90 kg for the digestive system organs, 4.18 ± 0.04 kg for the lung, 0.05 ± 1.27 kg for the heart, 2.20 ± 0.05 kg for the liver, 1,75 ± 0.22 kg for the trachea. While that of the PO bulls were: digestive organs 17.03 ± 2.34 kg, lung 4.12 ± 0.05 kg, heart 0.05 ± 1.11 kg, liver 2.13 ± 0.06 kg, trachea 1.61 ± 0, 11 kg. The slaughter weight of Simmental crossbred bulls was 401.31 ± 39.98 kg and that of PO bulls was 368.54 ± 33.56 kg. The results of the t test showed that there is a highly significant difference (P<0.01) in the slaughter weight and the internal non-carcass weight between those of Simmental crossbred and those of PO bull. It can be concluded that the slaughter weight of Simmental crossbred bull was 32.77 kg higher than that of of PO bull, and the internal non-carcass weight of Simmental corssbreed bull was 3.15 kg higher than that of PO bull. |
