| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan fitobiotik dalam pakan terhadap bobot dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas pada itik dan entok. Materi yang digunakan untuk penelitian yaitu day old duck (DOD) itik lokal sebanyak 100 ekor dan DOD entok sebanyak 100 ekor, pakan komplit kode BR1 japfa comfeed, pakan basal, fitobiotik, dan 40 unit kandang petak. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental, dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial dengan uji analisis variansi dan uji lanjut beda nyata jujur. Faktor pertama adalah spesies (B): b1= itik lokal (Anas plathyrhynchos) dan b2= entok (Cairina moschata). Faktor kedua adalah penambahan fitobiotik (P): p0= pakan basal; p1= pakan basal + penambahan bawang putih 3%; p2= pakan basal + penambahan kunyit 3%; p3= pakan basal + penambahan jahe 3%; p4= pakan basal + penambahan kencur 3%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara spesies dengan jenis fitobiotik berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap persentase sayap dan punggung, jenis unggas air berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bobot paha, sayap dan punggung serta persentase dada. Jenis fitobiotik berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap persentase paha. Itik dan entok yang diberi pakan dengan penambahan fitobiotik bawang putih atau kencur menghasilkan persentase yang paling tinggi. Terdapat interaksi antara spesies dengan jenis fitobiotik terhadap persentase sayap dan punggung. Persentase sayap tertinggi diperoleh pada entok yang pakannya diberi penambahan bawang putih sebanyak 3% dan pada itik tertinggi pada penambahan kencur sebanyak 3%, sedangkan persentase punggung tertinggi diperoleh pada entok yang pakannya diberi penambahan kencur sebanyak 3% dan pada itik tertinggi pada penambahan jahe sebanyak 3%. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of phyobiotic addition in ration on the weight and percentage of carcass parts of duck and muscovy. The research materials were 100 one-day-old-duck (DOD) local duck and 100 DOD muscovy, complete feed with the code of BR1 from Japfa Comfeed, basal feed, phytobiotic, and 40 units of square cage. The research used experimental methods with a completely randomized factorial design (CRD) and was followed by an analysis of variance and honest significant difference test (HSD). The first factor was the species (B): b1= local duck (Anas plathyrhynchos) and b2= Muscovy duck (Cairina moschata). The second factor was the additions of phytobiotic (P): p0= basal feed; p1= basal feed + 3% addition of garlic; p2= basal feed + 3% addition of curcuma; p3= basal feed + 3% addition of ginger; p4= basal feed + 3% addition of turmeric. The results of analysis of variance showed that the interaction between species and the type of phytobiotic significantly affected (P<0.05) the percentage of wings and backs, the species of duck significantly affected (P<0.05) the weight of thigh, wings and backs as well as the of the breast. The type of phytobiotic was significant (P<0.05) on the percentage of duck and Muscovy thigh. The feed with the phytobiotic addition of garlic or turmeric produced the highest percentage. There was an interaction between the species and the type of phytobiotic on the percentage of wings and backs. The highest percentage of wings was obtained by muscovy whose feed was supplemented with garlic as much as 3%, and in the duck was obtained from the turmeric supplementation as much as 3%, meanwhile the highest percentage of back was obtained by muscovy whose feed was supplemented with turmeric as much as 3% and in duck the highest one was that with ginger as much as 3%. |
