| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara bobot tetas dengan pertumbuhan periode awal itik hasil persilangan pejantan Tegal dengan induk Magelang. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 80 ekor itik hasil persilangan pejantan Tegal dan induk Magelang, yang selanjutnya disebut itik Gallang. Pakan yang diberikan adalah pakan itik fase starting yang terdiri dari complete feed BR 1 dengan kandungan PK 21% serta ME 3150 Kkal dan ditambahkan dedak, jagung giling dan konsentrat itik pedaging. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan dan simpang baku bobot tetas, pertumbuhan absolut, dan pertumbuhan relatif periode awal itik Gallang masing-masing sebesar 43,63±4,00 g, 21,06±2,75 g/hari, dan 0,23±0,016. Terdapat hubungan antara bobot tetas dengan pertumbuhan periode awal itik Gallang. Nilai koefisien korelasi (r) antara bobot tetas dengan pertumbuhan absolut sebesar 0,109 dan pertumbuhan relatif sebesar -0,286. Koefisien determinasi (R2) antara bobot tetas dengan pertumbuhan absolut sebesar 1,2% dan pertumbuhan relatif 8,19%, dengan persamaan regresi masing-masing Y= 17,77 + 0,075X dan Y= 0,28 – 0,001X. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara bobot tetas dengan pertumbuhan periode awal pada itik Gallang. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The research objectives were to determine the relationship between the hatching weight and the initial period of growth of Gallang duck. It is a cross breed between Tegal male and Magelang female. The material used in the study is 80 Gallang duck. The feed was duck ration in the starting period consisting of complete feed BR 1 which contained CP 21% and ME 3150 Kcal and was added with rice bran, corn flour, and broiler duck’s concentrate. The research method was experimental using correlation regression analysis. The results showed that the mean and standard deviations of hatching weight, absolute growth, and relative growth in the duck’s starting period were, respectively, 43.63 ± 4.00 g, 21.06±2.75 g/day, and 0.23±0.016. There was a relationship between hatching weight and starting period growth of the duck. The coefficient correlation (r) between the hatching weight and absolute growth was 0.109 and the relative growth was -0.286. The coefficient of determination (R2) between the hatching weight and the absolute growth was 1.2% and the relative growth was 8.19%, with each regression equation Y= 17.77 + 0,075X and Y= 0.28 – 0.001X. This study concludes that there is a positive relationship between the hatching weight and the starting period of growth of Gallang duck. |
