| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menguji daya hambat tiga isolat Bacillus subtilis B1, B46, dan B209 terhadap pertumbuhan jamur penyebab penyakit antraknosa secara in vitro, 2) mendapatkan isolat B. subtilis terbaik dalam menghambat jamur penyebab penyakit antraknosa secara in vitro, 3) mendapatkan isolat B. subtilis terbaik dalam mengendalikan penyakit antraknosa cabai dan 4) mengetahui interaksi B. subtilis dan dua jamur penyebab penyakit antraknosa cabai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, pada bulan Februari sampai dengan April 2016. Penelitian secara in vitro berupa rancangan non-faktorial rancangan dasar yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap, 4 perlakuan dan 6 kali ulangan. Penelitian secara in planta berupa rancangan faktorial dengan rancangan dasar yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap, faktor 1 yaitu B. subtilis dan faktor 2 yaitu patogen penyebab antraknosa cabai, terdapat 8 kombinasi perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Variabel yang diamati meliputi zona hambatan, masa inkubasi, luas serangan, bobot gejala dan indeks sampah. Hasil pengukuran dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan BNT 5% untuk uji in vitro dan DMRT 5% untuk uji in planta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga isolat B. subtilis B1, B46 dan B209 mampu menghambat pertumbuhan jamur penyebab antraknosa cabai. Isolat B. subtilis B209 merupakan isolat terbaik dalam menghambat pertumbuhan jamur penyebab antraknosa cabai dengan efektifitas daya hambatan 44,9% untuk C. capsici dan 44,5% untuk C. gloeosporioides secara in vitro. Isolat B. subtilis B209 menunjukkan hasil terbaik dalam mengendalikan penyakit antraknosa cabai sebesar 52% untuk C. capsici dan 53,04% untuk C. gloeosporioides. Terjadi interaksi antara tiga isolat B. subtilis dan dua jamur penyakit antraknosa cabai pada variabel pengamatan indeks sampah pada cabai merah dan masa inkubasi pada cabai hijau. |

Inggris) | This research aimed to 1) test the inhibition of three isolates of B. subtilis B1, B46, and B209 to the growth of fungi that cause anthracnose disease in vitro, 2) get isolates of B. subtilis best in inhibiting the fungi that cause anthracnose disease in vitro, 3) get isolates of B. subtilis best in controlling anthracnose chili and 4) knowing the interaction of B. subtilis and two fungi that cause anthracnose on chili. The research was conducted in Agriculture Faculty Plant Protection Laboratory, Jenderal Soedirman University, from February to April 2016. The in vitro research was non factorial design using completed randomized design with 4 treatments and 6 replications. The in planta design was factorial design using completed randomized design with the first factor was B. subtilis and the second factor was anthracnose pathogen, so there were 8 treatments combination and 3 replications. Variables observed were inhibition area, incubation period, attack wide, symptom weight and waste index. Measured data was analyzed by analysis of variance continued by 5% HSD for in vitro test and 5% DMRT for in plant test. The result showed that B1, B46 and B209 B. subtilis isolates were able to inhibit the growth of fungus that caused chili anthracnose disease. B209 B. subtilis isolate was the best isolate on inhibiting the anthracnose fungus growth with in vitro inhibition rate about 44.9% for C. capsici and 44.5% for C. gloeosporioides. B209 B. subtilis isolate showed the best performance on constraining anthracnose disease as much as 52% for C. capsici and 53.04% for C. gloeosporioides. There were interactions between 3 B. subtilis isolates and 2 funguses that caused chili anthracnose disease in waste index variable of red chili and incubation period variable of green chili. |
