| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum ayam kampung jantan terhadap indeks eritrosit. Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam Sentul jantan umur delapan minggu sebanyak 60 ekor. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimental in vivo dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diuji adalah penggunaan sinbiotik dengan level yang berbeda-beda, yaitu R0 (tanpa sinbiotik), R1 (penggunaan sinbiotik 2%), R2 (penggunaan sinbiotik 4%), dan R3 (penggunaan sinbiotik 6%). Peubah yang diamati adalah Indeks Eritrosit (MCV, MCH, dan MCHC). Dari hasil perlakuan R0, R1, R2, dan R3 diperoleh rataan MCV berturut-turut adalah 140.60±5.00, 139.90±3.30, 138.14±7.80, dan 134.84±1.08, rataan MCH berturut-turut adalah 46.48±1.76, 47.16±1.24, 45.72±1.58, dan 44.98±1.17, sedangkan rataan MCHC berturut-turut adalah 33.02±0.54, 33.70±0.56, 33.16±1.32, 33.34±0.81. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum ayam kampung jantan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0.05) terhadap indeks eritrosit (MCV, MCH, MCHC). Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa indeks eritrosit darah ayam kampung yang relatif sama diperoleh dari penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum sampai taraf 6% dengan pemeliharaan selama 45 hari. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of using different levels of sinbiotic in local roosters’ feed on their erythrocytes index. The research materials were 60 eight week old Sentul roosters. Conducted by in vivo experimental method, the experiment was designed in a Completely Randomized Desidn (CRD) where the treatments were R0 (without sinbiotic), R1 (2% sinbiotic), R2 (4% sinbiotic), and R3 (6% sinbiotic). The research variables were the eritrosit indexes (MCV,MCH,MCHC). The treatments R0, R1, R2, and R3 yielded the following results: the average values of MCV were, respectively, 140.60±5.00, 139.90±3.30, 138.14±7.80, and 134.84±1.08, the average values of MCH were 46.48±1.76, 47.16±1.24, 45.72±1.58, and 44.98±1.17, and that of MCHC were 33.02±0.54, 33.70±0.56, 33.16±1.32, and 33.34±0.81. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the use of sinbiotic in the diet of lokal roosters had insignificant effects (P>0,05) on the eritrosit indexes. The conclusion of this research is that the use of sinbiotic in the roosters’ feed up to 6% for 45 days will yield erythrocytes indexes which are relatively equal. |
