| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fertilitas, daya tetas, dan hasil tetas persilangan resiprok itik Tegal dengan Magelang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Materi yang digunakan adalah telur itik sebanyak 565 butir yang diperoleh dari persilangan resiprok itik Tegal dengan Magelang yang terdiri dari 16 ekor pejantan dan 40 ekor induk itik. Variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian adalah fertilitas, daya tetas, dan hasil tetas telur hasil persilangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji “t”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fertilitas, daya dan hasil tetas telur hasil persilangan resiprok itik Tegal dengan Magelang tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05). Rataan dan simpang baku fertilitas, daya tetas, dan hasil tetas telur persilangan itik Tegal jantan dengan itik Magelang betina (Gallang) masing-masing adalah 83,2 ± 6,01%, 31,3 ± 18,6%, 28,3 ± 17,46%, sedangkan rataan dan simpang baku fertilitas telur persilangan itik Magelang jantan dengan itik Tegal betina (Maggal) masing-masing adalah 74,7 ± 21,6%, 30,5 ± 17,72%, 25,1 ± 16,34%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa fertilitas, daya tetas, dan hasil tetas telur persilangan resiprok itik Tegal dengan Magelang relatif sama. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study aimed to determine egg fertility, hatchability, and hatching yield of reciprocally crossed Tegal and Magelang ducks. Employing an experimental method, this research used 565 duck eggs obtained from reciprocal crosses between 16 male duck and 40 female duck. The research variables which were analyzed with the t-test were the fertility, hatchability, and hatching yield of the reciprocal crosses. The results showed that the fertility, hatchability, and egg hatching yield were not significantly different (P> 0.05). The means and standard deviations of the fertility, hatchability, and hatching yield of the crosses between Tegal ducks and Magelang ducks (Gallang) were, respectively, 83.2 ± 6.01%, 18.6% ± 31.3, and 28.3 ± 17.46%, while those of between Magelang ducks and Tegal ducks (Maggal) were, respectively, 74.7 ± 21.6%, 17.72% ± 30.5, and 25.1 ± 16.34%. The research concludes that the fertility, hatchability, and egg hatching of reciprocal crosses between Tegal with Magelang ducks were relatively the same. |
