| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui bahan setek yang memberikan respon terbaik pada pertumbuhan setek batang tanaman nilam, 2) Mengetahui konsentrasi urin sapi yang memberikan hasil optimal pada pertumbuhan setek batang nilam, 3) Mengetahui ada atau tidaknya interaksi antara kedua faktor tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan setek batang nilam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Limpakuwus, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas mulai dari Maret 2016 sampai Mei 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), perlakuan merupakan kombinasi antara dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah macam bahan setek, yaitu bahan setek bagian pucuk batang, bagian tengah batang, dan bagian pangkal batang. Faktor kedua adalah variasi konsentrasi urin sapi, yaitu 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) bahan setek bagian pucuk batang memberikan pengaruh pertumbuhan yang lebih baik pada luas daun, jumlah akar, dan bobot akar segar. 2) konsentrasi urin sapi 75% memberikan hasil yang optimal pada pertumbuhan bobot akar segar dan bobot akar kering. 3) adanya interaksi antara faktor bahan setek dengan konsentrasi urin sapi memberikan pengaruh terhadap saat tumbuh tunas dan bobot akar kering. |

Inggris) | This research aimed to 1) know cuttings material that gives the best effect to the growth of patchouli stem cuttings, 2) know the concentration of cow urine that provided optimal results in the growth of patchouli stem cuttings, 3) know whether there is an interaction between the two factors on the growth of patchouli stem cuttings. This research was conducted at the Limpakuwus Village, Sumbang Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency, from March 2016 until may 2016. This research used a randomized block design, consisted of two factors. The first factor was the kind of cuttings material; the top of stem, the center of stem, and the base of stem. The second factor was the variation of the concentration of cow urine; 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The result showed that: 1) the top of stem cuttings material had better effect on the growth in leaf area, number of roots, and weight of fresh root. 2) cow urine concentration of 75% provided optimal results in the weight of fresh and dry root. 3) the interaction between the cuttings material and cow urine concentration a give effect on while of growing shoot and weight of dry root. |
