| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Secara politis pemilih pemula memang lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan pemilih lainnya, tetapi ini merupakan sebuah penggambaran bagaimana partisipasi mereka ke depan. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap pemilih pemula di Kecamatan Purwokerto Utara. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi politik pemilih pemula dalam pemilihan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Banyumas tahun 2013 di Kecamatan Purwokerto Utara dan bentuk-bentuk partisipasi politiknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status sosial ekonomi (X1) dan tingkat pengetahuan politik (X2) memberikan perbedaan yang siginfikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi politik pemilih pemula di Pemilukada Banyumas 2013. Sementara itu, bentuk partisipasi politik terbanyak dalam pelaksanaan Pemilukada Banyumas tahun 2013 di Kecamatan Purwokerto Utara adalah memilih calon pasangan bupati. Implikasi penelitian adalah semestinya para pemilih pemula mampu untuk memberikan dampak lebih besar dalam partisipasi politik, tidak hanya memberikan hak suara saja. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Politically voters is less than that of other voters, but this is a depiction of how their participation in the future. The research was conducted on voters in the District of North Purwokerto. The purpose of this study which is to explain the factors that affect the political participation of voters in the election of the Regent and Vice Regent Banyumas in 2013 in the District of North Purwokerto and other forms of political participation. The results showed that socioeconomic status (X1) and the level of political knowledge (X2) gives Significant differences in the level of political participation of voters in Election Banyumas 2013. Meanwhile, most forms of political participation in the implementation of the General Election in 2013 in the district of Banyumas North Purwokerto is selecting candidates for the regent. Implications of the study is properly the first time voters were able to have a greater impact on political participation, not only gives the right to vote. |
