| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi dan perbedaan antara bobot telur dengan bobot tetas hasil persilangan resiprok itik Tegal dan Magelang. Materi yang digunakan adalah telur tetas hasil persilangan resiprok itik Tegal dengan Magelang sebanyak 565 butir (Gallang) dan 448 butir (Maggal). Metode penelitian adalah experimental dan data dikoleksi dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi, regresi dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan bobot telur itik Gallang (pejantan Tegal X induk Magelang) adalah 64,94±4,92 g dan Maggal (pejantan Magelang X induk Tegal) 64,18±4,26 g. Rataan bobot tetas Gallang 42,54±4,32 g dan Maggal 42,61±3,94 g. Berdasarkan hasil uji t diketahui bahwa karakteristik bobot telur dan bobot tetas antara itik Gallang dan Maggal tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05). Korelasi antara bobot telur dengan bobot tetas menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara bobot telur dan bobot tetas pada itik Gallang dan Maggal. Besarnya korelasi (r) pada itik Gallang adalah 0,74 dan koefisien determinasi (r2) 55% dengan persamaan regresi Y= 0,233+0,651X, sedangkan pada itik Maggal korelasi (r) 0,48 dan koefisien determinasi (r2) 23,31 % dengan persamaan regresi Y= 13,952+0,447X. Pengaruh bobot telur terhadap bobot tetas pada Maggal sangat kecil. Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa karakteristik bobot telur dan bobot tetas pada itik Gallang dan Maggal relatif sama. Korelasi antara bobot telur dengan bobot tetas pada itik Gallang relatif lebih tinggi dari itik Maggal. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this research is to study the correlation and difference between egg and hatching weight of the reciprocal cross between Tegal and Magelang duck. The Material used were 565 eggs (Gallang) and 448 eggs (Maggal) of the reciprocal cross between Tegal and Magelang duck. The research was conducted experimentally and the collected data was analyzed by using the regression, correlations and t-test analyses. The result of research showed that the average wight of Gallang duck eggs (male Tegal X female Magelang ducks) was 64,94±4,92 g and that of Maggal (male Magelang X female Tegal ducks) was 64,18±4,26 g. Hatching weight of Gallang was 42,54±4,32 g and that of Maggal was 42,61±3,94 g. The t-test showed that the characteristics of egg weight and hatching weight between those of Gallang and Maggal duck were not significantly different (P>0.05). The correlation between the weight of egg and hatching weight showed there was a relationship between egg weight and hatching weight of Gallang duck and Maggal duck. The correlation value (r) of Gallang was 0,74 and the coefficient of determination (r2) was 55%, with a regression equation Y = 0,233+0,651X, whereas the value of correlation (r) of Maggal duck was 0,48 and the coefficient of determination (r2) was 23,31% with a regression equation Y= 13,952+0,447X. The influence of egg weight on hatching weight in Maggal was very small. It could be concluded that the characteristic of egg weight and hatching weight of Gallang and Maggal duck are relatively the same. The correlation (r) between eggs weight and hatching weight of Gallang duck are relatively higher than that of Maggal duck. |
