| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Perairan utara Papua memiliki potensi sumber daya perikanan cakalang. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil tangkapan ikan adalah konsentrasi klorofil-a. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis variasi temporal klorofil-a konsentrasi dan hubungan antara variasi temporal klorofil-a dengan hasil tangkapan cakalang di perairan utara Papua. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penginderaan jauh. konsentrasi klorofil-a digunakan dari data Aqua MODIS. Data dari hasil tangkapan ikan dianalisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi temporal konsentrasi klorofil-a meningkat pada musim timur dan menurun di musim barat. Hubungan antara variasi temporal konsentrasi klorofil-a dengan hasil tangkap cakalang menunjukkan kecenderungan setelah adanya selang waktu 2-3 bulan kemudian. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Papua's northern waters have the potential skipjack fishery resources. One of the factors that affect the fish catch is the concentration of chlorophyll-a. This study aimed to analyze the temporal variation of chlorophyll-a concentrations and the relationship between the temporal variation of chlorophyll-a with catches of skipjack in the northern waters of Papua. The method used in this study using remote sensing techniques. The concentration of chlorophyll-a is used data from MODIS Aqua. Data from the catches were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the temporal variation of chlorophyll-a concentration increased in summer and decreased in the east to the west. The relationship between the temporal variations in concentrations of chlorophyll-a by catch of skipjack showed a trend after an interval of 2-3 months later. |
