| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Rekam medis adalah salah satu unit vital dalam struktur organisasi rumah sakit. Merupakan sumber dokumen yang menjadi rujukan utama dalam menganalisis perkembangan kesehatan masyarakat secara personal, rekam medis menyimpan informasi dan data-data pribadi pasien yang berobat dirumah sakit maupun dokter praktek. Oleh karena itu sifat rekam medis itu adalah rahasia. Kriptografi adalah ilmu atau seni untuk menjaga keamanan pesan, di dalam kriptografi terdapat dua proses penting, yaitu enkripsi dan dekripsi. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjaga keamanan data rekam medis tersebut dengan kriptografi dengan menggunakan metode vigenere cipher. Vigenere Cipher adalah salah satu metode dari kriptografi klasik yang merupakan perluasan dari metode Caesar Cipher. Konsep dasar yang dipakai pada metode Caesar Cipher adalah pergeseran tiap karakternya, sedangkan pada Vigenere Cipher membutuhkan sebuah tabel bujur sangkar yang disebut bujur sangkar Vigenere. |

Is the source of documents that become the main reference in analyzing the development of public health in personal, medical record and store information and personal data of patients seeking treatment in a hospital or doctor's practice. Therefore, the nature of the medical record is confidential. Cryptography is the science or art to keep your messages, in cryptography, there are two important processes, namely encryption and decryption. In this study aims to safeguard the security of medical records by using vigenere cryptographic cipher. Vigenere Cipher is one of the methods of classical cryptography which is an extension of the Caesar Cipher method. The basic concept used in the Caesar Cipher method is a shift each character, whereas in Vigenere Cipher need a square table called Vigenere square. |
