Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung daun sirsak (Annona muricata L.) dalam ransum terhadap jumlah eritrosit dan leukosit itik Tegal jantan. Materi penelitian ini menggunakan 60 ekor itik Tegal jantan berumur 50 hari. Ransum Basal yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari campuran jagung kuning giling 38,2%, dedak padi 30,0%, PMM 17,0%, SBM 7,0%, minyak 6,1%, lisin 0,1%, metionin 0,3%, topmix 0,2%, NaCl 0,1%, dan CaCo3 1%. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diujicobakan yaitu S0 (Pakan kontrol, tanpa penambahan tepung daun sirsak), S1 (Penambahan 5% tepung daun sirsak per kg pakan, S2 (Penambahan 10% tepung daun sirsak per kg pakan), dan S3 (Penambahan 15% tepung daun sirsak per kg pakan). Peubah yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah eritrosit dan leukosit. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan uji Orthogonal Polinomial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rataan jumlah eritrosit itik Tegal jantan berkisar antara 3,20 ± 0,62 106/µl sampai dengan 3,40 ± 0,22 106/µl dan rataan jumlah leukosit antara 8680 ± 1804 sel/µl sampai dengan 10320 ± 1980 sel/µl. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung daun sirsak tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap jumlah leukosit maupun eritrosit itik Tegal jantan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa jumlah eritrosit dan leukosit itik Tegal jantan yang ransumnya diberi tambahan tepung daun sirsak masih berada dalam kisaran normal. Jumlah eritrosit dan leukosit tertinggi terjadi pada taraf penambahan tepung daun sirsak 10%, sedangkan taraf penambahan 15% tepung daun sirsak justru menurunkan jumlah eritrosit dan leukosit itik Tegal jantan. |

Inggris) | The purpose of this study is to observe the effects of soursop (Annona muricata L.) leaf meal suplementation in the diet on the total counts of erytrocyte and leukocyte of male Tegal duck. The research materials were 60 male Tegal ducks at the age of 50 days. The diet consisted of a mixture of 38.2% ground yellow corn, 30.0% rice bran, 17.0% PMM, 7.0% SBM, 6.1% oil, 0.1% lisin, 0.3% metionin, 0.2% topmix, 0.1% NaCl, and 1% CaCo3. This experimental research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments tested were S0 (Positif control feed, without soursop leaf meal suplementation), S1 (with 5% suplementation per kg of feed), S2 (10% suplementation per kg of feed), and S3 (15% suplementation per kg of feed). The observed variables were the total counts of erytrocyte and leukocyte of the ducks. The results showed that the average level of blood erythrocytes of the ducks ranged from 3.20 ± 0.62 to 3.40 ± 0.22 106/µl and that of leukocyte were from 8680 ± 1804 to 10320 ± 1980 cell/µl. The results of analysis of variance showed that the suplementation did not significantly affect (P>0.05) the total counts of erytrocyte and leukocyte. Therefore, it can be concluded that the total counts of erytrocytes and leukocytes of male Tegal duck whose diet is supplemented with soursop leaf meal are still in the normal range. The highest level of total erytrocytes and leukocytes counts is at the addition of 10% soursop leaf meal, while at the 15% addition lowers the number of erythrocytes and leukocytes instead. |
