| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ukuran linier tubuh yang meliputi panjang badan, lingkar dada, tinggi pundak, bobot badan dan luas urat daging mata rusuk sapi Brahman Cross dan mempelajari hubungan antara ukuran linier tubuh tersebut dengan bobot badan dan luas urat daging mata rusuk. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah 50 sapi Brahman Cross jantan umur 2-4 tahun. Metode penelitian adalah survei dengan teknik pengambilan data secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panjang badan, lingkar dada, tinggi pundak, bobot badan dan luas urat daging mata rusuk rataannya 135,76±4,53 cm, 187,20±5,67 cm, 137,86±4,99 cm, 436,98±19,70 kg dan 82,30±10,11 cm2. Hasil analisis regresi berganda antara ukuran linier tubuh dengan bobot badan mengikuti persamaan garis Y = -750,57 + 2,74 X1 + 4,14 X2+ 0,30 X3, dengan nilai r = 0,947 dan r2 = 89,6 persen. Hasil analisis regresi berganda antara ukuran linier tubuh dengan luas udamaru mengikuti persamaan garis Y = -453,84 + 1,21 X1 + 1,93 X2, dengan nilai r = 0,853 dan r2 = 72,8 persen. |

Inggris) | The purpose of this research is to measure the size of the body length, girth, shoulder height, body weight and loin eye area of Brahman Cross and the relationship between them. The research material was 50 male Brahman Cross at the age of 2-4 years. Using a survey method, the data of this research was collected with a purposive sampling. The results showed that the body length, girth, shoulder height, body weight, and loin eye area average 135,76±4,53 cm, 187,20±5,67 cm, 137,86±4,99 cm, 436,98±19,70 kg, and 82,30±10,11 cm2, respectively. The results of the multiple regression analysis showed that the relationship between the linear size and the body weight follows the equation Y = -750,57 + 2,74 X1 + 4,14 X2 + 0,30 X3, with the value of r = 0,947 and r2 = 89,6 percent, while that between the linear size and the loin eye area follows the equation Y = -453,84 + 1,21 X1 + 1,93 X2, with the value of r = 0,853 and r2 = 72,8 percent. |
