| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh varietas terhadap kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik dedak padi secara in vitro. Materi yang digunakan adalah ransum pakan sapi potong yang terdiri atas rumput gajah, bungkil kelapa, dedak padi dari berbagai varietas, serta cairan rumen sapi potong sebanyak 3 ekor yang diperoleh dari Rumah Pemotongan Hewan (RPH) Tambaksari, Banyumas. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen secara in vitro menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan, yaitu D1 = Rumput Gajah 30 % + Bungkil Kelapa 10 % + Dedak Padi Varietas IR-64 60%, D2 = Rumput Gajah 30 % + Bungkil Kelapa 10 % + Dedak Padi Varietas Pandanwangi 60%, D3 = Rumput Gajah 30 % + Bungkil Kelapa 10 % + Dedak Padi Varietas Ketan Putih 60%, D4 = Rumput Gajah 30 % + Bungkil Kelapa 10 % + Dedak Padi Varietas Ketan Hitam 60%, dan D5 = Rumput Gajah 30 % + Bungkil Kelapa 10 % + Dedak Padi Varietas Beras Merah 60%. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjut dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan varietas berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik dedak padi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik dedak dipengaruhi oleh varietas padi yang berbeda. Kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik paling baik adalah dedak padi varietas IR-64 yaitu 51,24 ± 2,94 % dan 53,61 ± 2,77 %. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The aim of the research was to assess the effect of various varieties of rice bran on the digestibility of dry matter and organic matter of rice by in vitro method. The materials used in the research were rations of beef cattle consisting of bulrush, coconut meal, and various rice bran varieties and cow’s rumen fluid that was obtained from Slaughter House (SH) in Tambak Sari, Banyumas. The research has been conducted by using an experimental method by in vitro with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments and four replications. The treatments were D1= Bulrush 30 % + Coconut meal 10 % + Rice Bran IR64 Variety 60 %, D2= Bulrush 30 % + Coconut meal 10 % + Rice Bran Pandanwangi Variety 60 %, D3= Bulrush 30 % + Coconut meal 10 % + Rice Bran White Glutinous Rice Variety 60 %, D4= Bulrush 30 % + Coconut meal 10 % + Rice Bran Black Glutinous Rice Variety 60 %, dan D5= Bulrush 30 % + Coconut meal 10 % + Rice Bran Red Rice Variety 60 %. Data was analyzed by using an analysis of variance and followed by Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test. The result showed that the variety of rice significantly affected (P<0.05) the dry matter and organic matter digestibilities. The research concludes that the dry matter and organic matter digestibilities of rice bran are affected by variety of rice. Bassed on the digestibility values, variety of IR-64 results the best dry matter and organic matter digestibility, as expressed by the values of 51.24 ± 2.94 % and 53.61 ± 2.77 %, respectively. |
