| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Salah satu terapi untuk pasien gangguan jiwa di rumah sakit adalah electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). ECT menyebabkan kecemasan pada pasien dan keluarga. Kecemasan terjadi pada keluarga pasien yang dilakukan dan tidak dilakukan ECT di instalasi pelayanan kesehatan jiwa terpadu RSUD Banyumas. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kecemasan keluarga pasien yang dilakukan dan tidak dilakukan electroconvulsive therapy di instalasi Yankeswa RSUD Banyumas. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan non eksperimental dengan rancangan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan consecutive sampling dalam periode 29 Januari sampai dengan 29 Februari 2016 di unit psikiatri RSUD Banyumas dan diperoleh 34 keluarga. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner HARS yang telah dimodifikasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai p=0,300 (p>0,05). Kesimpulan: Tidak ada perbedaan tingkat kecemasan keluarga pasien dengan anggota keluarga yang dilakukan dan tidak dilakukan electroconvulsive therapy di instalasi pelayanan kesehatan jiwa terpadu RSUD Banyumas. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | ABSTRACT Background: One of the therapies for patients with mental disorder in hospital is electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). ECT causes anxiety in patients and family. The anxiety occurs in family of patients using and not using ECT in the installation of an integrated mental health service at RSUD Banyumas. Objective: This research aimed to determine the differences level in anxiety of patient family whose family member using and not using electroconvulsive therapy in the installation of an integrated mental health service at RSUD Banyumas. Method: This research was non-experimental research with cross sectional design. The sampling of this research used consecutive sampling in the period of January, 29 to February, 29, 2016 in the psychiatric unit at RSUD Banyumas and it was obtained 34 families. The research instrument used a modified HARS questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using chi square test. Result: Based on the result of data analysis, it was obtained p-value 0.300 (p>0.05). Conclusion: There was no difference level in anxiety of patient family on family members using and not using electroconvulsive therapy in the installation of an integrated mental health service at RSUD Banyumas.
