Judul ArtikelKomunitas Nematoda Pada Tanah Yang Diperkaya Materi Organik
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Nematodes are one of the groups of soil organisms that have an important role in the decomposition process of organic matter in the soil. The existence of a nematode community structure in different ecosystems show that nematodes can respond to a number of environmental stresses and is useful as an indicator of degradation of soils or soil health. Nematodes in the food web involved in the process of mineralization of organic matter and organic nutrients as well as transfer of energy sources and nutrients to the top trophic level. In addition, both above and underground interaction that occurs in terrestrial ecosystems will also determine the biodiversity of organisms on or in the soil and affect the plant aboveground.
The purpose of this study was to determine the nematode communities on land enriched with organic matter and to determine the correlation aboveground growth of bean plants with nematode community. Experiments carried out experimentally by using completely randomized design with factorial. Analyses were performed with MANOVA followed composition analysis and correlation using the CCA. This study is expected to provide scientific information on the effect of organic matter on the nematode community.

The results showed the positive effect of organic matter enhamcement on the abundance of nematodes (Wilk's lambda 0.005). Each type of organic matter produced composition and dominance of different nematodes. Treatment C0, C1, C2, C3 were dominated by Rhabditidae (bacterial feeder). However, there was a fluctuations in the number of other familia on other treatments. In C2 the nematode number was not significantly different and the number decreased only in Criconematidae. This mignht cause C2 had the highest abundance. Additionally, CCA showed a very strong correlation with the value of 86.6% between environmental factors and nematode community. The addition of organic matter was able tof influence the nematode composition and dominance.
