Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui pengaruh jenis pembenah tanah yang efektif terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kubis bunga di lahan pasir pantai, (2) mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk nitrogen yang optimum terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kubis bunga di lahan pasir pantai, (3) mengetahui interaksi jenis pembenah tanah efektif dengan dosis pupuk nitrogen optimum terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kubis bunga di lahan pasir pantai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan pasir pantai Jetis, Desa Banjarsa ri, Kecamatan Nusawungu, Kabupaten Cilacap, pada bulan Juli sampai September 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan percobaan RAKL dengan 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Faktor yang dicoba dalam penelitian yaitu pembenah tanah: tanpa, Vertisol (30 t/ha), pupuk kandang (20 t/ha), Vertisol (30 t/ha) dan pupuk kandang (20 t/ha) dan dosis pupuk N : 90 kg N/ha, 180 kg N/ha, dan 270 kg N/ha. Data dianalisis dengan cara uji F, apabila berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan DMRT pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pembenah tanah Vertisol dan pupuk kandang memberikan hasil terbaik pada variabel tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, luas daun, kadar kehijauan daun, bobot daun kering, bobot akar kering, bobot tanaman segar, umur pembentukan bunga, diameter bunga, hasil bunga segar (12,02 t/ha) dan kering (2,70 t/ha). (2) pemberian dosis pupuk 270 kg N /ha masih menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada variabel tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, luas daun, bobot daun segar, bobot daun kering, bobot tanaman segar, bobot batang segar, umur pembentukan bunga, diameter bunga, hasil bunga segar (12,09 t/ha) dan kering (2,72 t/ha) (3) interaksi perlakuan pembenah tanah dengan dosis pupuk N berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel volume akar dan bobot tanaman kering. Hasil terbaik diperoleh pada kombinasi perlakuan pembenah tanah campuran Vertisol dan pupuk kandang dengan dosis pupuk N 270 kg/ha.

Inggris)This research aimed to know (1) the effect of soil conditioner material on the growth and yield of cauliflower on coastal sandy land (2) the effect of N fertilizer dosage on the growth and yield of cauliflower on coastal sandy land, (3) the interaction between soil conditioner material with N fertilizer dosage on the growth and yield of cauliflower on coastal sandy land. The research was conducted in coastal sandy land Jetis beach which located in Banjarsari village, Nusawungu subditricts, Cilacap regency, on July to September 2015. This research used Complete Randomized Block Design with 12 treatments and 3 replications. Factors tested in the research as follow soil conditioner material :control, Vertisol (30 t/ha), manure (20 t/ha), and vertisol (30 t/ha) with manure (20 t/ha). Dosage of N fertilizer: 90 kg N/Ha, 180 kg N/Ha, and 270 kg N/Ha. Data was analyzed by F test, if it was significantly different, it was be continued by DMRT at the error rate 5%. The results showed that (1) Soil conditioner material a better result in plant height, leaf length, leaf area, leaf greenness levels, leaf dry weight, root dry weight, fresh weight of the plant, the age of the formation of flowers, flower diameter, the results of fresh flowers (12,02 t/ha) and dried flowers results (2,70 t/ha) (2) the dosage of fertilizer 270 kg N /ha still showed an increase in plant height, leaf length, leaf area, leaf fresh weight, dry weight of leaves, plant fresh weight, fresh weight of stem, root dry weight, the age of the formation of flowers, flower diameter, the results of fresh flowers (12,09 t/ha) and dried flowers results (2,72 t/ha) (3) the interaction of addition soil conditioner material with N fertilizer dosage was significant of the volume root and plant dry weight. A better result were obtained on the combined treatment Vertisol and manure soil conditioner material with N fertilizer dosage270 kg/ha.
