| Judul Artikel | PENGARUH FERMENTASI DEDAK PADI, KULIT PISANG, DAN LIMBAH SINGKONG MENGGUNAKAN MIKROORGANISME EFEKTIF TERHADAP KADAR PROTEIN KASAR DAN SERAT KASAR |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara dosis mikroorganisme efektif dengan berbagai bahan limbah pertanian terhadap kadar protein kasar dan serat kasar. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 5-10 Febuari 2016 di Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Faktorial 2x3 dengan perlakuan faktor M adalah dosis ME 0,8% dan 1,2%, dan faktor B adalah limbah pertanian (dedak padi, kulit pisang dan limbah singkong). Peubah yang diukur adalah kadar protein kasar dan serat kasar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara dosis mikroorganisme efektif dengan bahan yang digunakan terhadap kadar protein kasar maupun serat kasar (P˂0,05). Penambahan dosis ME menyebabkan penurunan kadar protein kasar pada semua bahan, namun pada kadar serat kasar dosis tidak memberikan pengaruh (P˃0,05). Sedangkan pada jenis bahan limbah pertanian memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda terhadap kadar protein kasar dan serat kasar (P˂0,01). Simpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penambahan dosis mikroorganisme efektif pada fermentasi dedak padi, kulit pisang dan limbah singkong menurunkan kadar protein kasar, dan tidak menurunkan kadar serat kasar. |

Inggris) | This research aimed to understand the interaction between microorganisms effective dose with various agricultural waste materials on the levels of crude protein and crude fiber. This study was held from 5-10 February 2016 at the Laboratory of Feed Nutrition, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University of Jenderal Sudirman, Purwokerto. The method used was experimental, using completely randomized design with a 2x3 factorial pattern the treatments were doses M factor of ME: 0.8 % and 1.2%, and factor B were agricultural wastes (rice bran, banana skin and cassava waste). The measured variables were the levels of crude protein and crude fiber. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance. The results showed that there was an interaction between microorganisms effective dose to the used materials on the levels of crude protein and crude fiber (P˂0.05). Extra doses of ME lead to the decreased levels of crude protein in the ingredients, but the crude fiber content was not affected (P˃0.05). While the types of agricultural waste materials had different effects on the levels of crude protein and crude fiber (P˂0.01). The conclusions of this study is, the addition of doses of effective microorganisms in fermented rice bran, cassava waste and banana skin reduce the levels of crude protein, however crude fiber contents were similar among treatments. |
