| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul: “Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Diversifikasi Ekspor di ASEAN (Data Panel 2005-2013)”. Tujuan penelitian ini antara lain untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi diversifikasi ekspor di ASEAN dan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap diversifikasi ekspor di ASEAN periode 2005-2013. Lokasi penelitian mencakup tujuh Negara ASEAN yakni Kamboja, Indonesia, Malaysia, Filipina, Singapura, Thailand, dan Vietnam dengan data panel periode 2005-2013. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan regresi data panel menunjukkan bahwa (1) foreign direct investment (FDI) dan angka harapan hidup berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap diversifikasi ekspor; Rata-rata lama sekolah, telekomunikasi, nilai tukar mata uang masing-masing negara ASEAN terhadap dollar AS, dan pertumbuhan pendapatan perkapita berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap diversifikasi ekspor; sedangkan inflasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap diversifikasi ekspor. (2) Dari ketujuh variabel independen, tidak ada satu pun variabel yang elastis karena nilainya yang kurang dari 1. Implikasi dari kesimpulan di atas yaitu pemerintah di masing-masing negara ASEAN perlu mengawasi setiap arus masuk FDI dan pemerintah perlu mengadakan program yang akan meningkatkan kualitas SDM. Dalam upayanya untuk meningkatkan telekomunikasi pemerintah perlu menggencarkan pembangunan pemancar jaringan telekomunikasi sehingga mencakup seluruh wilayah. Pemerinah juga perlu untuk menjaga kestabilan dari nilai tukar dan pertumbuhan pendapatan perkapita. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The title of this research is “Factors Affecting Export Diversification in ASEAN (Panel Data 2005-2013). The purpose of this research are; firstly, to determine the effect of FDI, mean years of schooling, life expectancy, telecommunications, inflation, exchange rate, and growth GDP per capita on export diversification in ASEAN. Secondly, to recognize the variables that most affect export diversification in ASEAN period 2005-2013. The location of this research includes seven ASEAN countries which is Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam with the panel data period 2005-2013. Based on the results of researching using panel data regression show that: (1) foreign direct investment (FDI), mean years of schooling, life expectancy, telecommunication, exchange rate, and growth GDP per capita have significant effect to export diversification. Partially, mean years of schooling, telecommunication, exchange rate and growth GDP per capita have positive significant effect to export diversification, foreign direct investment (FDI) and life expectancy have negative significant effect to export diversification, while inflation don’t have significant effect to export diversification.(2) From the seven variable independent none of them are elastic because the value is less than 1. Implications of this research are government in each ASEAN countries needs to monitoring FDI inflows and government should conduct programs to improve the quality of human resources. In efforts to improve the telecommunications government should build and improve transmitter telecommunication network to cover the entire region. The government also needs to maintain stability of exchange rate and growth GDP per capita. |
