Indonesia) | GAMBARAN PASIEN HIPERTENSI YANG MENJALANI TERAPI LINTAH DI KLINIK TERAPI LINTAH MEDIS PURBA DESA KAWEDUSAN KEBUMEN Rahmat Fauzi1, Iwan Purnawan2, Yunita Sari3 1Mahasiswa Jurusan Keperawatan Universitas Jendral Soedirman 2Dosen Jurusan Keperawatan Fakultas Ilmu-Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Jendral Soedirman 3Dosen Jurusan Keperawatan Fakultas Ilmu-Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Jendral Soedirman Rahmat.fauzi378@gmail.com ABSTRAK Latar belakang : Terapi lintah (Hirudo Medicinalis) merupakan salah satu pengobatan alternatif yang berkembang saat ini. Tidak sedikit penderita hipertensi lebih memilih menggunakan terapi lintah dibandingkan pengobatan konvensional. Penelitian terdahulu menyebutkan bahwa terapi lintah dapat menurunkan tekanan darah. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan gambaran pasien hipertensi yang menjalani terapi lintah. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan 45 responden yang didapatkan melalui teknik consecutive sampling. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner gambaran pasien hipertensi menjalani terapi lintah terdiri dari 27 item pertanyaan. Data dianalisa dengan analisis univariate dan disajikan dengan tabel distribusi frekuensi. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa semua responden (100%) memiliki motivasi yang tinggi untuk sembuh, responden merasa cocok dengan terapi lintah karena lebih murah dari konvensional serta efek langsung terapi lintah yang dirasakan adalah banyaknya darah yang keluar. Semua responden (100%) juga menyatakan hasil (efek positif) menjalani terapi lintah yaitu tekanan darah menjadi normal, mengeluarkan darah kotor/racun serta dapat membentuk sel-sel baru, merasakan kenyamanan, terhindar dari ketergantungan obat-obatan, dan pengobatan yang aman. Kesimpulan : Pasien hipertensi menjadikan terapi lintah sebagai pengobatan alternatif selain pengobatan konvensional. Gambaran pasien yang menjalani terapi lintah yaitu merasa cocok, terhindar dari ketergantungan obat-obatan, serta termotivasi menjadikan tekanan darah normal. Many of hypertensive patients prefered to used leech therapy than conventional therapy. Early study shown that leech therapy can decrease blood presure. Objective: This study aimed to describe viewed of hypertensive patients undergoing leech therapy. Methods: This study used descriptive quantitative research with 45 respondents who obtained within consecutive sampling technique. Data obtained from description of hypertension patients whom undergo leech therapy questionnaire consist of 27 items inkuiry. Data were analyzed with univariate analysis and presented with a frequency distribution table. Results: The results showed that all respondents ( 100 % ) have a high motivation to recovered, the respondents feels comfortable with leech therapy because it is cheaper than conventional and the direct effects of perceived leech therapy is the amount of blood that comes out. All respondents ( 100 % ) also stated the results ( positive effect ) respondents whom undergo leech therapy is becoming normal blood pressure, blood soiled / toxins and can established new cells, feel more comfortable , to prevented from dependence on drugs and safe treatment. Conclusions: Hypertensive patients make leech therapy as an alternative treatment in addition to conventional treatment. Description of hypertension patients whom undergo leech therapy was feel comfortable, protected from drug addiction, as well as motivated to make normal blood pressure.
