| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tahap terakhir dari penggunaan ortodonti adalah penggunaan retainer. Retainer yang digunakan ada dua macam yaitu retainer cekat dan lepasan. Setelah digunakan kedua retainer tersebut dapat terjadi relaps. Dari semua jenis maloklusi yang ada, kejadian relaps yang sering terjadi adalah pada klas 1 tipe 1 yaitu relasi molar klas 1 dengan crowding anterior, disertai dengan pencabutan premolar pertama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan besar relaps pada penggunaan retainer cekat dan lepasan pasca perawatan ortodonsi kasus maloklusi klas I tipe 1 dengan pencabutan premolar pertama. Penelitian Survei crossectional ini menggunakan studi model pada 16 sampel, 8 sampel pengguna retainer cekat dan 8 sampel pengguna retainer lepasan dengan metode purposive sampling. Studi model diukur menggunakan little irregullarry index yaitu mengukur jumlah jarak kontak poin yang bergeser menggunakan caliper digital dari premolar kedua kanan sampai premolar kedua kiri dan pengukuran dilakukan tiga kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan besar relaps pengguna retainer cekat dengan rata- rata sebesar 1,67 dan pada pengguna retainer lepasan dengan rata- rata sebesar 3,46. Berdasarkan hasil uji Independent T Test didapatkan nilai p= 0,00 (p<0,05) sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada nilai relaps pada penggunaan retainer cekat dan lepasan pasca perawatan ortodonsi maloklusi klas 1 tipe 1 dengan pencabutan premolar pertama. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The last stage of orthodontic treatment is use retainer. Two kinds of retainer, they are fixed retainer and removable retainer. Both the retainer may relapse. The most incidence of relapse is common in class 1 type 1 with anterior crowding, along with the lifting of the first premolar. This study has goal to find a big difference in the relapse use of fixed and removable retainer after orthodontic treatment of Class I malocclusion cases of type 1 with the lifting of the first premolar. This cross-sectional survey study using a model study on 16 samples, eight samples of the retainer fixed and removable retainer user 8 samples by purposive sampling method. Study models were measured using a little irregullarry index that measures the number of contact points are shifted distance using a digital caliper of second premolar right to left second premolar and measurements were performed three times. The results showed fixed retainer user relapse has mean 1.67 and removable retainer has mean 3.46. Based on the test results Independent t test p value = 0.00 (p <0.05) so that there is a significant difference in the value of relapse in the use of fixed and removable retainer after orthodontic treatment of malocclusion of class 1 type 1 with the lifting of the first premolar. |
