| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Bio food grade grease merupakan salah satu inovasi produk hilir industri kelapa sawit. Bio food grade grease merupakan pelumas yang tidak bersifat toksik sehingga aman dalam penggunaannya dan sangat cocok untuk industri pengolahan pangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat penerimaan penggunaan bio food grade grease terhadap : 1) kinerja mesin, 2) karakteristik, 3) kemasan, 4) harga yang ditawarkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kebijakan, responden ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling, responden yang dikehendaki yaitu hanya pengguna yang memiliki mesin pengolahan pangan yang berpotensi menggunakan pelumas. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini adalah 30 orang. Variabel yang diamati meliputi tingkat kepuasan terhadap kinerja pelumas, karakteristik pelumas, kemasan bio food grade grease, kesukaan terhadap pelumas grease, dan harga bio food grade grease. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Bio food grade grease dapat diterima konsumen dalam hal kinerja pelumas baik dari segi perlindungan korosi (4,76), kestabilan panas (4,7), keausan mesin (4,63). 2) Bio food grade grease dapat diterima konsumen dalam hal karakteristik pelumas baik dari segi daya lekat (4,7), kelunakan (4,56), kenyamanan ditangan (5,13), kemudahan dalam penggunaan (5). 3) Bio food grade grease dapat diterima konsumen (5,43) dan memiliki kecenderungan lebih disukai dibandingkan dengan grease komersil (4,43). 4) Kemasan yang digunakan pada bio food grade grease dapat diterima konsumen dari segi ukuran wadah (5,27), label (5,26), jenis wadah (5,16). 5) Konsumen dapat menerima harga yang ditawarkan terhadap bio food grade grease. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Bio food grade grease is one of the innovations of downstream products from the palm oil industry. Bio food grade grease is the lubricant that is not toxic so it is safe in use and suitable for food processing industry. The purpose of this research is to knowing the acceptance level of the use of bio food grade grease against: 1) the performance of the engine, 2) characteristics, 3) packing, 4) the price offered. This research is a policy research, respondent determined by purposive sampling method, Respondents preferred that only the user, who has a food processing machines that have the potential to use a lubricant. The number of respondents in this research is 30 people. The observed variables include the level of satisfaction with the performance of lubricants, characteristics of lubricants, packaging of bio food grade grease, preference for lubricants, and the price of bio food grade grease. Results of the research showed: 1) Bio food grade grease acceptable to consumers in terms of performance lubricants, in terms of corrosion protection (4.76), heat stability (4.7), engine wear (4,63). 2) Bio food grade grease acceptable to consumers in terms of the characteristics of the lubricant, in terms of adhesion (4.7), tenderness (4.56), the comfort of the hands (5.13), ease of use (5). 3) Bio food grade grease acceptable to consumers (5.43) and have a tendency to be preferred compared with commercial grease (4.43). 4) The packaging used in food grade grease bio acceptable to consumers, in terms of the size of the container (5.27), label (5.26), the type of container (5.16). 5) The consumer can accept the price offered against bio food grade grease. |
