Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan prebiotik (FOS (frcutoologoscaride), GOS (galactooligosacaride) dan Inulin dalam pakan terhadap kadar kolesterol darah dan daging itik Tegal jantan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 Mei 2015 sampai 17 Juni 2015 di Selo Arum Farm, Sokaraja dan Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan Unsoed. Materi yang digunakan adalah 100 ekor itik Tegal jantan umur 2 bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental, dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Sebagai perlakuan adalah pakan bassal (R0), pakan basal + 0,2 % FOS (R1), pakan basal + 0,2% GOS (R2) dan pakan basal + 0,2% Inulin (R3). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil analisis variansi menujukkan bahwa perlakuan penggunaan prebiotik (FOS, GOS dan Inulin) dalam pakan itik Tegal jantan umur 2 bulan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kadar kolesterol darah dan kadar kolesterol daging paha serta perpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kadar kolesterol daging dada. Rataan hasil analisis kadar kolesterol darah adalah 147,6 mg/dl (R0); 152,8 mg/dl (R1); 166,6 mg/dl (R2); 146 mg/dl (R3), rataan hasil analisis kadar kolesterol daging paha adalah 154,53 mg/100g (R0); 153,69 mg/100g (R1); 187,81 mg/100g (R 2); 153,28 mg/100g (R3), dan rataan hasil analisis kadar kolesterol daging dada adalah 298,91 mg/100g (R0); 418,09 mg/100g (R1); 160,09 mg/100g (R2); 151,15 mg/100g (R3). Kesimpulan penelitian penggunaan prebiotik FOS, GOS dan Inulin dalam pakan itik Tegal jantan menghasilkan kadar kolesterol darah dan daging paha yang relatif sama. Kadar kolesterol daging dada mengalami penurunan sebesar 42%.

Inggris)This research aims to determine the effects of using prebiotics FOS (fructoologoscaride), GOS (galactooligosacaride) and Inulin in diets on blood cholesterol levels and duck meat Tegal male. The study had been conducted from May 2 until June 17, 2015 at Selo Arum Farm, Sokaraja and at the Science and Nutrition Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Soedirman University. The materials being used were 80 2month-old male Tegal ducks. This research used experimental methods with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments were basal feed (R0), basal feed + 0.2% FOS (R1), basal feed + 0.2% GOS (R2) and basal feed + 0.2% Inulin (R3). Data were analyzed with an analysis of variance whose results showed that the treatments of the use of prebiotics (FOS , GOS and inulin) in. The feed did not significantly affetct (P> 0.05) the cholesterol levels in the blood and the thigh meat, but significantly affect (P <0.05) the cholesterol levels in the breast meat. The results of the analysis of the cholesterol level in the blood averaged 147.6 mg/dl (R0); 152.8 mg/dl (R1); 166.6 mg/dl (R2); 146 mg/dl (R3), while that in the thigh meat averaged 154.53 mg/100g (R0); 153.69 mg/100g (R1); 187.81 mg/100g (R2); 153.28 mg/100g (R3), and that of in the breast meat averaged 298.91 mg/100g (R0); 418.09 mg/100g (R1); 160.09 mg/100g (R2); 151.15 mg/100g (R3). This study concludes that the use of FOS, GOS, and inulin in the feed Tegal male duck produces blood cholesterol levels and thigh meat are relatively same. Breast meat cholesterol levels decreased by 42%.
