| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan Refleksi Lingkungan Keluarga terhadap Perkembangan Karakter Tokoh Botchan dalam Novel Botchan Karya Natsume Soseki. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui refleksi lingkungan keluarga terhadap perkembangan karakter tokoh Botchan. Novel ini dianalisis dengan teori struktural novel, teori psikologi perkembangan, teori keluarga. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa refleksi Botchan yang keras kepala dan mudah marah adalah akibat orangtua yang tidak menyayanginya. Sejak kecil Botchan tidak diberi kasih sayang dari keluarganya, karena sikap orangtuanya Botchan menjadi pemarah. Refleksi yang diberikan oleh Kiyo berbeda dengan kedua orangtuanya, Kiyo selalu memuji, memotivasi,dan memberikan kasih sayang kepada Botchan sehingga dapat membangkitkan rasa percaya diri Botchan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This thesis examine about “Family Environment Reflection on Character Development of Botchan in Botchan Novel by Natsume Soseki.” The purpose of this research is to know family environment reflection toward Botchan’s character development. This novel will be analyzed by novel structural theory to know the relation of intrinsic element. The writer analyze Botchan’s character using development psychology theory, while it uses family theory to analyze family environment reflection toward Botchan’s character development. The result of this research that Botchan’s reflection that has hard attitude and easy to be angry is a result of the parents does not love him. Since he was child, Botchan has not been given attention from his family because his parents likes to be angry. Kiyo’s reflection is different to his parents, Kiyo always gives compliment, give motivation, and gives attention to Botchan so it can support Botchan being confident. |
