| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini membahas tentang motivasi kepeminatan pada cosplayer kejepangan dalam COSPUR (Cosplay Purwokerto). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan kuesioner dengan teknik purposive sampling. Objek penelitian ini adalah cosplayer kejepangan dalam COSPUR. Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori motivasi kebutuhan Abraham Maslow. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis motivasi kepeminatan pada Cosplayer kejepangan dalam COSPUR berdasarkan lima motivasi kebutuhan Maslow. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah motivasi yang paling penting adalah untuk mencapai “kepuasan diri” yaitu jika sudah terpenuhi lima motivasi kebutuhan dasar Maslow. Tahapan motivasi kebutuhan adalah 1) pengaktualisasian diri (ingin menjadi tokoh idolanya); 2) rasa cinta dan kasih sayang (mencari banyak teman dengan hobi yang sama), 3) penghargaan (untuk menunjukkan diri mereka pada orang lain), 4) keamanan (ketika menjadi idola, mereka dapat merasa aman); dan 5) kebutuhan fisiologis (ingin membeli kostum dan aksesoris cosplay). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa motivasi para cosplayer kejepangan dalam COSPUR memiliki perbedaan dengan hirarki perjenjangan motivasi kebutuhan Maslow. Motivasi utama adalah ingin mengaktualisasikan diri dan mendapatkan rasa cinta dan kasih sayang, bukan kebutuhan fisiologis dan keamanan, karena sebagian besar sebenarnya sudah hampir tercukupi kebutuhan fisiologis dan keamanannya. Kebutuhan penghargaan juga bukan merupakan motivasi utama para COSPUR karena penghargaan dan kemenangan hanya sebagai bonus dari hobi. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research discusses about interest motivation on Japanese cosplayer in the COSPUR (Cosplay Purwokerto). This is a qualitative descriptive research by using questionnaires with purposive sampling technique. The objects of this research is Japanese cosplayer in the COSPUR. The discussion in this research uses motivation needs theory by Abraham Maslow. The purpose of this research is to analyze the interest motivation on Japanese cosplayer in the COSPUR based on five motivation needs by Maslow. The results of this research is the most important motivation that they want is to achieve "self-satisfaction". Someone will get self-satisfaction if they had fulfilled 5 hierarchy basic motivations need by Maslow. The hierarchy of motivation needs are 1) self-actualization (want to become their idol), 2) belonging and love (getting friendship with other people who has same hobbies), 3) esteem (to show off their self), 4) safety (they feel safe when they become idol); and 5) physiological needs (want to buy the cosplay costumes and accessories). The result of the research is that the motivation of the Japanese cosplayers in the COSPUR has differentiations with the hierarchy of motivation needs by Maslow. The important motivation is self-actualization and love/belonging, not physical and safety needs, because most of them had fulfilled their physiological and safety needs. Esteem need is also not their important motivation, because esteem and win are only bonus of their hobbies. |
