| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Resin komposit bulk fill adalah bahan restorasi langsung pada gigi yang dapat diaplikasikan maksimal setebal 4mm. Resin komposit bulk fill terdapat beberapa tambahan bahan untuk mengurangi shrinkage dan menambah kekuatan fisik bahan setelah dilakukan polimerisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode penyinaran terhadap polymerization shrinkage dan compressive strength pada resin komposit bulk fill packable. Jumlah total 24 sampel yang terbagi menjadi 3 kelompok. Bentuk sampel silinder berukuran 2 mm x tinggi 4 mm, dengan alat cetak berbahan fiber glass. Cara pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Kelompok I, dilakukan penyinaran dengan metode continous cure. Kelompok II, dilakukan penyinaran dengan metode ramp cure. Kelompok III, dilakukan penyinaran dengan metode intermittent cure. Penyinaran masing-masing dilakukan selama 20 detik. Subjek penelitian selanjutnya dilakukan uji shrinkage menggunakan jangka sorong dengan ketelitian 0,01 mm dan uji compressive strength dengan Universal Testing Machine. Uji One Way ANOVA polymerization shrinkage dan compressive strength menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermakna diantara metode penyinaran yang digunakan (p < 0,005). Hasil uji polymerization shrinkage diperoleh nilai metode ramp cure 0,03 mm, metode intermittent cure 0,05 mm dan metode continous cure 0,13 mm. Hasil uji compressive strength diperoleh nilai pada metode intermittent cure 337,125 MPa, metode ramp cure 310,375 MPa dan metode continous cure 264,25 MPa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh metode penyinaran terhadap polymerization shrinkage dan compressive strength pada resin komposit bulk fill packable. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Bulk-fill composite is one of direct restoration material which maximum increment thickness is 4 mm. Resin composite bulk fill have extra material to reduce shrinkage and increase physical force material after conducted polymerization. This study was aimed to determine the effect of light curing method on polymerization shrinkage and compressive strength of bulk-fill packable composite resin. This study was carried on total 24 cylindrical samples (2 mm in diameter and 4 mm in height) with fiber glass material. Simple random sampling was used in this study and divided into 3 groups. In Group I, the samples were light cured with continuous method. In Group II, the samples were light cured with ramp method, and in Group III, the samples were light cured with intermittent method. Each sample was polymerized using LCU for 20 seconds. The polymerization skrinkage was determined with caliper (0,01mm accuracy) and the compressive strength was determined with Universal Testing Machine. One Way ANOVA revealed that there were significant differences in polymerization shrinkage and compressive strength between the three groups (p=0,000, p < 0,005). The result polymerization shrinkage in ramp cure group was 0,03 mm, intermittent cure group was 0,05 mm and continuous cure group was 0,13 mm. The highest compressive strength score was obtained by intermittent cure group (337,125 Mpa), followed by ramp cure group (310,375 Mpa) and continuous cure group (264,25 Mpa), respectively. The result of this study showed the effect cured method to polymerization shrinkage and compressive strength in resin composite bulk fill packable. |
