| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Anggrek termasuk dalam famili Orchidaceae dan memiliki bentuk bunga dan warna yang menarik. Anggrek terdiri dari 800 genus dan diperkirakan lebih dari 25.000 species. Penelitian eksploratif untuk karakterisasi anggrek saat ini dirasakan sangat penting karena banyak habitat anggrek alam yang rusak. Kerusakan habitat oleh eksploitasi berlebihan, bencana alam, dan alih fungsi lahan menjadi lahan pertanian mengancam keberadaan anggrek terutama anggrek saprofit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakter morfologi dan fenologi bunga anggrek saprofit di Gunung Tugel. Berdasarkan pengamatan morfologi anggrek saprofit di Gunung Tugel terdapat satu spesies anggrek yaitu Didymoplexis pallens, hidup di atas serasah bambu Gigantochloa apus. Anggrek saprofit berbunga dengan waktu 14-15 hari. Bunga anggrek langsung tumbuh di ujung batang dan tidak mempunyai daun. Bunga berwarna putih bersih, dengan lebar ± 13 mm dan panjang 16 mm, bibir bunga berwarna kuning khas. Tinggi batang rata-rata 10,98 dan dapat mencapai 15 cm, akar kadang membesar dan membentuk tuber. Terdapat rhizome berwarna coklat dan menggembung tersembunyi di dalam tanah |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Orchid belongs to the family Orchidaceae and has a flower shape and color. Orchids consists of 800 genera and estimated at more than 25,000 species. Explorative research for the characterization of orchid is now considered to be very important because a lot of damaged natural orchid habitat. Habitat destruction by over-exploitation, natural disasters, and land conversion to agricultural land threatens the existence of orchids especially saprofit. The aim of this study was to determine the character of the species based on morphological characters and orchid flower phenology saprofit Mount Tugel. Based on morphological observation orchid saprofit Mount Tugel there is one species that is Didymoplexis pallens, living on a bamboo litter Gigantochloa sp. Saprofit orchid flowering time of 14-15 days. Orchid flowers grow directly on the stem end and have no leaves. Pure white flowers, with a ± 13 mm wide and 16 mm long, yellow flowers typical lip. Average height rod 10.98 and can reach 15 cm, the roots sometimes swell and form a tuber. There are brown and bulging rhizome hidden in the ground. |
