| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini membahas penurunan dan pengaplikasian model Von Bertalanffy yang dipengaruhi laju metabolisme (anabolisme dan katabolisme) untuk memprediksi berat tubuh sapi perah Friesian-Holstein (FH) di BBPTUHPT Baturraden. Prediksi berat tubuh sapi perah FH ini dapat digunakan untuk menentukan usia kawin pertama kali sapi perah FH. Usia kawin pertama yang tidak tepat dapat menyebabkan produksi susu yang rendah dan tidak tercapainya berat tubuh pedet yang ideal. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi diperoleh konstanta anabolisme sebesar 0,3854 dan konstanta katabolisme sebesar 0,0438. Prediksi berat tubuh sapi perah FH mempunyai persentase kesalahan absolut rata-rata 4,9708%, yaitu sebesar 6,5358 kg. Selanjutnya, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sapi perah FH dapat dikawinkan pada berat tubuh 273,9152 kg sampai 303,2340 kg dengan umur 59-66 minggu atau sekitar 14-16 bulan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | In this research, Von Bertalanffy model is derived and applied to predict the weight of Friesian-Holstein dairy cows. This model takes into account the rate of metabolism (anabolism and catabolism). The prediction of cow’s weight is important to determine the age of the first cows mating. An improper age of the first mating results in the low prediction of milk and the cow calves do not reach an ideal weight. From the simulation, it is known that the constant of anabolism is 0,3854, while the constant of catabolism is 0,0438. The result of prediction has an average absolute value of 4,9708%, which is 6,5358 kg. Furthermore, it is found that the cows can be mated when their weight is between 273,9152 kg and 303,2340 kg, that is when their age is between 59 and 66 weeks (or between 14 and 16 months). |
