| Judul Artikel | POTENSI TIGA ISOLAT Bacillus subtilis B46, B209 DAN B211 SEBAGAI PEMACU PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN SOLANACEAE |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakter tiga isolat B. subtilis B46, B209 dan B211 sebagai pemacu pertumbuhan tanaman Solanaceae dan mempelajari respon pertumbuhan tanaman Solanaceae setelah aplikasi isolat B. subtilis tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Agustus 2015, di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, dan kebun percobaan di desa Karangwangkal, Purwokerto. Penelitian dilakukan dengan dua tahap yaitu in vitro dan in planta. Pengujian di laboratorium meliputi uji penghasil siderofor, uji penghasil IAA, uji pelarut fosfat, uji penghasil nitrogen, dan uji resistensi antibiotik. Pengujian di lapang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, pada tanaman cabai, terung dan tomat. Variabel yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, bobot tanaman segar, bobot akar segar, volume akar, bobot tanaman kering, bobot akar kering dan jumlah daun. Data dianalisis dengan uji F dilanjutkan dengan DMRT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isolat B. subtilis B46, B209 dan B211 mampu menghasilkan siderofor, IAA dan nitrogen, mampu melarutkan fosfat dan tahan terhadap antibiotik Rifampicin, cukup tahan terhadap Chloramphenicol, Kanamycin dan Streptomycin serta kurang tahan terhadap Nalidisic Acid. Perlakuan B. subtilis B46, B209 dan B211 mampu meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, bobot tanaman segar, bobot akar segar, volume akar, bobot tanaman kering, dan bobot akar kering pada tanaman cabai, terung dan tomat. |

Inggris) | ABSTRACT The objectives of the research were to: 1) Determine the character of the three isolates of B. subtilis B46, B209 and B211 as Solanaceae plant growth promoters and studying the Solanaceae plant growth response after application of the isolates of B. subtilis. The research was conducted from March to August 2015, in the Laboratory of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture University of Jenderal Soedirman, and experimental field in Karangwangkal, Purwokerto. This study used randomized block design (RAK) with 12 treatments and 3 replications. Laboratory tests include siderophores producing tested, IAA producing tested, phosphate solubilizing tested, nitrogen producing tested, and antibiotics resistance tested. Tested in the field use of plant peppers, eggplant and tomatoes. Variables observed included plant height, root length, plant fresh weight, fresh root weight, root volume, dry weight of the plant, root dry weight, and number of leave. Data were analyzed by F test, then tested further by DMRT at the level of 5% error. The results showed that isolates of B. subtilis B46, B209 and B211 are able to produce siderophores, IAA and nitrogen, capable of solubizing phosphate and resistant to antibiotics Rifampicin, quite resistant to Chloramphenicol, kanamycin and streptomycin and less resistant to Nalidisic Acid. Treatment B. subtilis B46, B209 and B211 are able to increase the plants height, number of leaves, root length, the weight of fresh plants, root weight, root volume, the dry weight of the plant, and root dry weight of chili, eggplant and tomato. |
