| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Ubi jalar (Ipomea Batatas L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas yang lama telah diusahakan oleh petani. Ubi jalar bagi Kabupaten Kuningan merupakan trademark mengingat posisinya sebagai penghasil komoditas terbesar di Jawa Barat, terdapat unit usahatani ubi jalar di Kecamatan Cilimus. Majunya jumlah penduduk, kebutuhan pangan juga meningkat maka perlu adanya upaya peningkatan sektor pertanian. Besarnya volume produksi dan produktivitas yang ada saat ini belum dikembangkan secara maksimal melalui diversifikasi produk olahan dan pengembangan dari segi inovasi dan teknologi serta kurangnya minat masyarakat untuk berinvestasi pada komoditas ubi jalar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui profil petani dan usahatani ubi jalar serta menganalisis hubungan profil petani dengan pendapatan petani ubi jalar di Kecamatan Cilimus Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah survei. Pengambilan sampel petani ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode strafied random sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada petani di Desa Bandorasa Wetan, Desa Bandorasa Kulon dan Desa Linggasana. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis Deskriptif, uji Korelasi Pearson Product Moment, analisis Biaya dan Pendapatan, analisis Titik Impas dan analisis Revenue-Cost Ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil petani pada faktor umur didominasi oleh petani dengan umur berkisar 41 – 51 tahun dengan faktor pendidikan sebagian besar adalah Sekolah Dasar (SD), tanggungan keluarga sebanyak 3 – 4 orang dan berpengalaman lebih dari 8 tahun serta kepemilikan luas lahan berkisar 0,25 – 0,50 hektar. Usahatani ubi jalar di Kecamatan Cilimus dilakukan dengan baik. Usahataninya yang menguntungkan dan layak diusahakan. Besarnya pendapatan rata-rata per hektar adalah sebesar Rp10.364.770,51, BEP produksi sebesar 3.619,33 kg per hektar, BEP harga sebesar Rp1.993,79 per kilogram dan nilai Margin of safety usahatani ubi jalar adalah 13,87 serta nilai R/C ratio mencapai sebesar 1,68. Hubungan korelasi profil petani ubi jalar yang telah dianalisis dan memiliki hubungan korelasi yang erat dengan pendapatan usahatani ubi jalar adalah faktor pendidikan dan luas lahan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Sweet potato (Ipomea Batatas L.) is one commodity that has long been cultivated by farmers. Regency of Kuningan sweet potato is the trademark given its position as the largest producer of the commodity in West Java, there is a sweet potato farm unit in the District of Cilimus. The advance of population, food needs also increases the need for efforts to improve the agricultural sector. The large volume of production and productivity are not yet developed its full potential through the diversification and development of processed products in terms of innovation and technology as well as a lack of public interest to invest in commodities sweet potatoes. The research objective was to determine the profile of farmers and sweet potato farming and analyze the profile of farmer relations with sweet potato farmers' income in the District of Cilimus, Kuningan Regency. The method used in the study was a survey. Sampling farmers determined by Strafied Random Sampling. The research was conducted on farmers in the village of Bandorasa Wetan, village of Bandorasa Kulon and village of Linggasana. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis, Pearson Product Moment test, Cost and Revenue analysis, Break Even Point analysis and the analysis of the Revenue-Cost Ratio. The results showed that the profile of farmers on the age factor is dominated by farmers with ages ranging from 41-51 years with educational factors are mostly elementary school, family dependents as much as 3-4 people,experience more than 8 years and the ownership of land ranges from 0,25 to 0,50 hectares.
