| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang. Skabies merupakan masalah kesehatan yang ditemukan hampir di seluruh dunia. Prevalensi skabies yang tinggi umumnya ditemukan salah satunya di pesantren. Diagnosis dini skabies sangat penting, karena terlambatnya diagnosis dapat memperparah penyakit dan penyebaran tungau ke individu lain. Burrow ink test adalah tes yang sederhana, murah, cepat dan noninvasif yang dapat digunakan untuk skrining pasien skabies dalam jumlah besar Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil uji diagnostik berupa nilai sensitivitas dan spesifisitas burrow ink test. Metode. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian uji diagnostik dengan rancangan penelitian observasional analitik dan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel diambil secara total sampling dari siswa-siswi tahun ajaran 2015/2016 SMP Islam Andalusia Kebasen Banyumas. Sampel berupa 69 lesi skabies diambil dari 48 orang siswa-siswi yang sudah positif dalam diagnosis presumtif skabies. Sampel kemudian dites dengan burrow ink test yang langsung dikonfirmasi dengan uji skin scrapping. Kemudian dilakukan uji diagnosis dengan membandingkan hasil burrow ink test dan hasil skin scrapping Hasil. Didapatkan nilai sensitivitas pada burrow ink test sebesar 88,57%, nilai spesifisitas burrow ink test sebesar 52,94%, nilai duga negatif burrow ink test sebesar 81,82% dan nilai duga positif burrow ink test sebesar 65,96% Kesimpulan. Burrow ink test memiliki sensitivitas yang tinggi dengan spesifisitas rendah dan cocok dijadikan sebagai alat skrining deteksi dini skabies |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background. Scabies is a health problem that is found almost all over the world. High prevalence of scabies are generally found in such as a boarding schools. Early diagnosis of scabies is one thing that is very important, because of the delay in diagnosis may aggravate the disease and the spread of mites to other individuals. Burrow ink test is one test that is simple, inexpensive, rapid and noninvasive which can be used for screening large number of scabies patients. Objective. This study aimed to determine the results of diagnostic test which consist of sensitivity and specificity of burrow ink test. Methods. This study was a diagnostic test with analytic observational study design and cross-sectional approach. Samples were taken by total sampling of all students in SMP Islam Andalusia Kebasen Banyumas school year 2015/2016. Samples of 69 scabies lesions were taken from 48 students that had already positive in the scabies presumptive diagnosis. After that samples were tested using burrow ink test and then confirmed by skin scrapping test. Then the diagnostic test performed by compare the results of burrow ink test and skin scrapping. Results. Sensitivity values obtained at burrow ink test was 88.57%, the specificity of burrow ink test was 52.94%, negative predictive value of burrow ink test was 81.82% and positive predictive value of burrow ink test was 65.96%. Conclusions. Burrow ink test has a high sensitivity levels with low specificity level and suitable as a screening tool for early detection of scabies. |
