| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik sarang Penyu Sisik (Eretmochelys imbricata) dan faktor fisik habitat peneluran Penyu Sisik di Pulau Kayuangin Bira, Taman Nasional Laut Kepulauan Seribu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey, yaitu dengan melakukan observasi dan pengamatan secara langsung. Hasil menunjukkan ditemukan 4 bekas sarang dan 1 sarang potensial. Jenis vegetasi pantai yang ditemukan diantaranya adalah Casuarina sp dengan Indeks Nilai Penting yang masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Suhu pada sarang Penyu Sisik berkisar antara 28 - 29 °C, suhu tersebut termasuk dalam kategori normal. Kemiringan pantai berkisar antara 4,8 - 10°, termasuk dalam katagori landai. Jarak sarang dari pasang tertinggi sebesar 9 - 10,3 m, sehingga memudahkan aktivitas pendaratan dan peneluran Penyu Sisik. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study aimed to describe the characteristics of the nesting habitat an its physical factors of Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata) in the Kayuangin Bira Island National Marine Park, Seribu Islands. Survey method was used by direct observation. The results showed that was found four former nest and one potential nest. Coastal vegetation types was found is Casuarina sp with the highest Importance Value Index are included in the hig category. The Hawksbill nests temperature is in the range between 28-29 ° C, the temperature is included in the normal category. Slope of the coast range between 4.8 to 10 °, included in the category rather steep (ramps). The distance from the highest tide of 9 up to 10.3 m, this can be easier to activity of landing and nesting for Hawksbill. |
