Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Lead (Pb) exposure effect is an environmental issue of the public healthy problem. The field officers in the Department of Transportation in Purwokerto city are a group of people has been frequent duties activity with risk of Pb exposed. Renal as filtration organ is potentially disturbed by the toxic effects of Pb. This research use an observation analytical design, with cross-sectional approach. The aims of the present research are to know and evaluated how the Pb exposure effects on renal function to field officers in the Departement of Transportation in Purwokerto with some parameters which of them are serum creatinine, serum urea, and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). Participants involved in this research were taken using purporsive sampling techniques with 30 people the participants. The results show that average blood lead level to participants are 14.1±9.3 µg/dL (range 3.6 to 39.9 mg/dL). The average serum creatinine level participants are 1.22±0.08 mg/dL (range 1.07 to 1.48 mg/dL). The average serum urea level of participants are 20.83±7.9 mg/dL (range 12 to 56 mg/dL). The average eGFR value of participants are 71.4±8.7 mL/min/1.73m2 (range 51 to 89 mL/min/1,73m2). Lead exposure wasn’t significant to increase the serum kreatinin and serum urea level (P>0,05). Despite that, lead exposure effect in nomal nor high level, it is can be decrease the eGFR level to 30 field officers in The Departement of Transportation in Purwokerto (P<0,01).
