| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Gurami (Osphronemus gouramy Lac.) merupakan ikan air tawar konsumsi yang cukup mahal. Purbalingga merupakan kabupaten yang minat masyrakat terhadap konsumsi ikan gurami cukup tinggi. Ikan gurami dijual di Tempat Penjualan Ikan (TPI) Purbalingga dalam ukuran konsumsi maupun benih, seperti benih ikan gurami pendederan II yang masih dianggap rentan terinfeksi ektoparasit Trichodina sp. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prevalensi benih ikan gurami pendederan II yang dijual di TPI Purbalingga yang terinfeksi Trichodina sp., serta variasi morfometrik Trichodina sp. pada benih ikan gurami pendederan II yang dijual di TPI Purbalingga. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 100 benih. Prevalensi benih ikan gurami pendederan II yang terinfeksi Trichodina sp. di TPI Purbalingga sebesar 40% sehingga masuk pada kategori commonly atau umum, Hasil pengukuran karakter morfometrik terdapat variasi morfometrik Trichodina sp. pada benih ikan gurami pendederan II dengan hasil identifikasi 38 individu Trichodina sp. yang diduga spesies Trichodina acuta, Trichodina heterodentata, Trichodina magna dan Trichodina nobilis. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Gouramy (Osphronemus gouramy Lac.) is a quite expensive freshwater fish for consumption. Purbalingga is a district there its people interested to consumpting is quite high. Gouramy fishes are sold at the Fish Market (TPI) Purbalingga, from consumption size and fry size, such as second nursery phase gouramy that still considered to be infected by a Trichodina sp. ectoparasite. This study aims to determine the prevalence of second nursery phase gouramy in TPI (Fish Market) Purbalingga that infected by Trichodina sp. and to determine the species of Trichodina and its morphometric variations in second nursery phase gouramy that sold in TPI (Fish Market) Purbalingga. The benefits of this research are to monitor parasite infection and to identify species of Trichodina, which can be used as a foundation in early efforts towards control a disease in gouramy seed cultivation center. The method used in this study was a survey. Sampling was done by simple random sampling. The prevalence of second nursery phase gouramy infected by Trichodina sp. in TPI Purbalingga was 40%, so entered the category commonly, the measurement results of morphometric characters are presented morphometric variation Trichodina sp. of second nursery phase gouramy with the results of the identification of 38 individuals Trichodina sp. suspected species of Trichodina acuta, Trichodina heterodentata, Trichodina magna and Trichodina nobilis. |
