| Judul Artikel | PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN CERA ALBA TERHADAP SIFAT FISIK SUPPOSITORIA EKSTRAK TERPURIFIKASI KULIT DAUN LIDAH BUAYA (Aloe vera) DENGAN BASIS OLEUM CACAO |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Lidah buaya (Aloe vera) memiliki kandungan zat aktif anthraquinone yang memberikan efek sebagai laksatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat sediaan suppositoria dari ekstrak terpurifikasi kulit daun lidah buaya (A.vera) dengan basis oleum cacao dan cera alba dan untuk mengetahui sifat fisik suppositoria ekstrak terpurifikasi lidah buaya dengan penambahan cera alba. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan memformulasikan ekstrak lidah buaya (A. vera) dengan memvariasikan penambahan konsentrasi cera alba yaitu : 3%, 3,5%, 4%, 4,5% dan 5%, menggunakan metode cetak tuang, evaluasi sifat fisik suppositoria yang meliputi: organoleptis, keseragaman bobot, waktu leleh, titik lebur dan kekerasan. Data organoleptis dan keseragaman bobot yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif sedangkan data uji lainnya dianalisis secara statistic dengan uji Anava satu arah pada taraf kepercayaan 95%, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil uji fisik menunjukkan bahwa semua formula sediaan suppositoria ekstrak terpurifikasi kulit daun lidah buaya memenuhi persyaratan standar yang ditetapkan. Penambahan cera alba meningkatkan waktu leleh, titik lebur dan kekerasan suppusitoria. Pada formula III dengan penambahan cera alba sebesar 4% mengasilkan suppositoria yang homogen, keseragaman bobot yang sesuai standar, titik lebur dalam kisaran normal suhu rektal yaitu 36,80C, waktu lebur 4 menit 31 detik, dan kekerasan 1800 gram. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Aloe vera (Aloe vera) contains active substances anthraquinone as laxative effect. The purposed of this study was to make a suppository of leaf skin purified extract of aloe vera (A.vera) dosage with oleum cacao base and cera alba and to determine the physical properties suppository purified extract of aloe vera leaf skin with the addition of cera alba. This study is an experimental research by formulated extracts of aloe vera (A.vera) by added variying concentration of the cera alba ie: 3%; 3,5%; 4%; 4,5% and 5%, used a cast method, the evaluation of the physical properties of suppositories include: organoleptic, uniformity of weight, melting time, melting point and hardness. Organoleptic data and uniformity of weight obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis, while the other test data were analyzed using statistical methods Anava one direction with a level of 95% followed by Least Significant Difference test (LSD). Physical test results showed that all suppository dosage formula leaf skin purified extract of aloe vera meet the requirements of the standards set. The addition of cera alba increases melting time, the melting point and hardness of suppusitory. In the formula III with the addition 4% of cera alba gave suppository that homogeneous, uniformity of weight standards, melting point within the range of normal rectal temperature is 36,80C, melting time 4 minutes 31 seconds, and the hardness 1800 grams. |
