| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pendidikan menjadi salah satu prioritas utama dalam kehidupan manusia untuk mendapatkan kehidupan yang lebih baik. Bahkan dalam Undang-Undang, Negara menjamin pemenuhan hak pendidikan setiap warganya, oleh karena itu pemerintah memberikan dukungan biaya pendidikan berupa beasiswa untuk mengikuti dan atau menyelesaikan pendidikan tinggi berdasarkan pertimbangan utama prestasi dan potensi akademik. Untuk itu perlu dibuat sistem pemilihan yang baik efektif dan efisien. Salah satu metode yang dapat diterapkan yaitu Metode Weighted Product (WP). Metode ini dipilih karena dapat menyeleksi alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif, dengan memberikan bobot pada masing-masing alternatif sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang baik.Penentuan penerima beasiswa PPA di FMIPA ini memiliki kriteria Indeks Prestasi Komulatif, Sistem Kredit Semester (SKS), penghasilan orang tua, dan jumlah tanggungan keluarga. Hasil analisis yang didapat memiliki prosentase kesamaan sebesar 71,43% hingga 92,3% dengan hasil tim penyeleksi beasiswa dan hasil analisisnya lebih konsisten karena mempertimbangkan semua atribut dalam penyelesaiannya.

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Education became one of the main priorities in human life to obtain a better life. Even the goverment policy guarantees the right to education of every citizen, therefore, the government provide soluition fees in the form of scholarship to attend and or to complete higher education based on the academic achievement and potential consideration. For that, there is a need to make a decision making system that is both effective and efficient. One method that can be applied namely Weighted Methods Product (WP). This method was chosen because it can select the best alternative from a number of criteria, by describing the weight of each criterion to obtain good results.To determine the PPA awardees in the Mathematics and Science Faculty, several criteria is used such as the cumulative GPA, Semester Credit System (SKS), parents income, and the number of family dependents. The analytical results obtained has a percentage of similarity of 71.43% to 92.3% with the selection scholarships team's results and their analysis are more consistent because they considersall the attributes in the solution.
