| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of managers education, capital structure, leases expenses, and business age on profitability. Method of analysis of this research was quantitative by using multiple regression analysis. In the study, there was a structural equation model to test the effect of manager education, capital structure, leases expenses, and business age on profitability. The sample of this study was consisted of 67 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) located in Purwokerto drawn by using purposive sampling method. The results of this study are (1) managers education has a significant effect on profitability. (2) capital structure has a significant effect on profitability. (3) leases expenses do not have a significant effect on profitability. (4) business age does not have a significant effect on profitability. |
