| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh kompetensi auditor dalam menyusun opini audit dan menguji pengaruh moderasi dari skeptisisme profesional pada hubungan kausal antara kompetensi auditor dalam menyusun opini audit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode pemilihan sampel bertujuan (purposive sampling) dalam pengumpulan datanya. Kuisioner didistribusikan kepada 36 responden yang merupakan auditor dari berbagai KAP. Teknin analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi variabel moderasi dengan metode selisih mutlak. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas audit akan baik jika opini audit disusun oleh auditor yang kompeten, dan akan jauh lebih baik jika auditor yang kompeten tersebut memiliki sikap mental skeptisisme profesional. |

Inggris) | The purpose of this study was to test the effect of the competence of auditors in preparing the audit opinion and test the moderating influence of professional skepticism on the causal relationship between the competence of auditors in preparing the audit opinion. This research is quantitative and method of sample selection aims (purposive sampling) in data collection. Questionnaires were distributed to 36 respondents who are auditors of various KAP. Teknin analysis is moderating variable regression analysis with an absolute difference method. The analysis showed that audit quality would be good if the audit opinion prepared by a competent auditor, and would be much better if the competent auditor has the mental attitude of professional skepticism. |
