Indonesia) | Dewasa ini perkembangan teknologi sudah mencapai sampai dimana teknologi tersebut bisa mengubah kualitas hidup manusia dalam melakukan aktifitasnya, baik dalam aktifitas belajar, bekerja, maupun bermain. Dalam dunia kesehatan misalnya, dalam bidang ini salah satu contoh yang membutuhkan peran serta teknologi adalah dalam bidang penyimpanan data kesehatan seseorang, atau rekam medis (medical record), medical record sangat berfungsi untuk kepentingan seseorang itu di masa depan, penyimpanan dalam bentuk digital diyakini akan lebih mudah dalam berbagai proses, misalnya sorting, searching, counting, dan lain sebagainya. Aplikasi penyimpanan digital disini diyakini perlu untuk dibuat, dengan beberapa metode pebuatan aplikasi pada umumnya beberapa langkah perlu dilakukan seperti mencari informasi tentang rekam medis, menentukan susunan media penyimpanan, merancang interface untuk pengguna, perhitungan kinerja sistem juga perlu dilakukan, sampai akhirnya siap untuk di aplikasikan. Aplikasi ini tentunya harus memenuhi syarat dasar tentang rekam medis yang sudah diatur dalam peraturan pemerintah, ataupun peraturan menteri terkait, seperti adanya rekam medis rawat jalan, rawat inap, maupun untuk gawat darurat. Aplikasi yang bisa diakses dari berbagai device yang berkembang pada saat ini juga perlu diwujudkan, untuk mempermudah akses aplikasi tersebut.
