| Judul Artikel | DAYA ANTIBAKTERI EKSTRAK KULIT JENGKOL (Pithecellobium sp.) PADA BAKTERI SALURAN PENCERNAAN IKAN PATIN SIAM (Pangasius hypophthalmus) |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas ekstrak kulit jengkol (EKJ) secara in vitro terhadap bakteri dari saluran pencernaan ikan patin siam (Pangasius hypophthalmus). Terdapat empat perlakuan konsentrasi EKJ yaitu P0: etanol 96% (tanpa penambahan EKJ), P1: 0,01% EKJ, P2: 0,02% EKJ dan P3: 0,03% EKJ. Hasil uji in vitro menunjukkan bahwa EKJ mampu menghambat bakteri saluran pencernaan ikan patin siam masing-masing sebesar 7,0 mm±0,117, 8,3 mm±0,044 dan 8,4 mm±0,096. Namun, tidak menunjukkan hasil yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap besarnya zona daya hambat yang terbentuk. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of jengkol pericarp extract (EKJ) in bacteria from the digestive tract of Siam catfish. There are four treatment of EKJ concentration i.e P0: etanol 96% (without the addition EKJ), P1: 0.01% EKJ, P2: 0.02% EKJ and P3: 0.03% EKJ. The in vitro results showed that EKJ was able to inhibit the growth of bacteria from digestive tract of Siam catfish respectively 7,0 mm±1,179, 8,3 mm±0,443 and 8,4mm±0,962 but this result was not affected significantly diameter zone of inhibiton as concentration jengkol pericarp extract was increase |
