| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui karakter fisiologi dan hasil padi gogo yang ditanam pada sistem tanam campur dengan rumput. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan selama enam bulan, mulai Maret sampai Agustus 2014. di lahan kering Desa Cendana, Kecamatan Kutasari, Kabupaten Purbalingga dengan tinggi tempat 360 m diatas permukaan laut. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Petak Terbagi dengan petak utama terdiri atas Tanpa rumput, Rumput Gajah dan Sereh dan anak petak yaitu Varietas Gilirang, Situ Patenggang dan Jatiluhur. Karakter fisiologi yang diamati adalah laju pertumbuhan tanaman, laju pertumbuhan relatif, laju asimilasi bersih, dan analisis kadar prolin. Hasil dan komponen hasil yang diamati adalah jumlah gabah isi per malai, jumlah gabah isi per rumpun, bobot gabah isi per rumpun, bobot 1000 biji, bobot gabah per petak efektif, bobot gabah per hektar dan indek panen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan rumput gajah dan sereh tidak menyebabkan adanya gangguan pada karakter fisiologi padi gogo. Sistem tanam tumpangsari padi gogo dengan rumput tidak menyebabkan adanya penurunan hasil. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Objective of this study was to know physiological and yield charaecter of upland rice under intercropped rice-grass. This study has been conducted within six months from March to August, 2014 in dry land of Cendana village Kutasari sub-district, Purbalingga district. Split Plot Design with the two factors were The first factor as main plot i.e R0 = without grass, R1 = Napier grassand R2 = lemon grass and second factor as subplot i.e V1 = Gilirang variety, V2 = Situ Patenggang variety and V3 = Jatiluhur variety. Based on with three times replications. Plant growth components observed were crop growth rate, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate and prolin content. Yeild and yeild components observed were number of filled grains per panicle, number of filled grains per hill, weight of filled grains per hill, weight of 1000 seeds, weight of grains per effective plot, weight of grains per hectare and harvest index. The result showed that the existance of elephant grass and lemon grass did not interfere the physiological Characters of upland rice.
