Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh pemberian dua isolat Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 dan Pseudomonas fluorescens P60 formula cair pada pengimbasan ketahanan tanaman kentang terhadap penyakit layu bakteri, dan 2) pengaruh pemberian dua isolat Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 dan Pseudomonas fluorescens P60 formula cair terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kentang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, dan di lahan Petani Kentang Desa Serang, Kecamatan Karangreja, Kabupaten Purbalingga, dimulai Maret sampai dengan Juni 2015. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok, 6 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicoba terdiri atas kontrol, dan penyiraman bakterisida berbahan aktif streptomisin sulfat 20% 1,5 g/L 6 kali, perendaman bibit 15 menit, dan penyiraman Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 dan Pseudomonas fluorescens P60 3, 6, 9, dan 12 kali. Variabel yang diamati yaitu masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit, kejadian penyakit, laju infeksi, kepadatan akhir antagonis dan patogen, tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, bobot segar dan kering tajuk, bobot segar dan kering akar, jumlah umbi, volume umbi terbesar, bobot umbi per tanaman, dan analisis jaringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan aplikasi antagonis Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 dan Pseudomonas fluorescens P60 dapat mengimbas ketahanan tanaman kentang dengan meningkatkan kandungan senyawa fenol pada tanaman. Perlakuan aplikasi perendaman bibit 15 menit, dan penyiraman antagonis Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 dan Pseudomonas fluorescens P60 12 kali, mampu memperlambat masa inkubasi, menurunkan intensitas penyakit, menurunkan kejadian penyakit masing-masing sebesar 9,23, 75, dan 53,57%, serta meningkatkan pertambahan tinggi tanaman, bobot kering akar, dan bobot umbi masing-masing sebesar 24,86, 37,67, dan 18,39%.

Inggris)This research aimed at knowing: 1) the effect of two isolates Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 and Pseudomonas fluorescens P60 in liquid formulations on the bacterial wilt, and 2) on growth and yield of potato. This research was carried out at the Laboratory of Plants Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, and the potato field at Serang Village, Karangreja Sub-District, Purbalingga Regency, started from March to June 2015. Randomized Block Design was used with 6 treatments and 5 replicates. The treatments were control, drencing bactericide (streptomisin sulfat 20% as its active ingredients) 1,5 g/L for 6 times, soaking of seedling for 15 minutes, and drencing antagonistic Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 dan Pseudomonas fluorescens P60 3, 6, 9, and 12 times. Variables observed were incubation period, disease incident, disease intensity, infection rate, late population of antagonistic and bacteria, plant height, number of branches, fresh and dry weight of crop, fresh and dry weight of root, number of tubers, volume of the biggest tubers, weight of tubers, and tissues analysis. Result of the research showed that the application of Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 and Pseudomonas fluorescens P60 could induce resistence of potato plants with increased the content of phenolic compounds in plants. Soaking of seedling for 15 minutes, combined with drencing antagonistic Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 dan Pseudomonas fluorescens P60 for 12 times could delay the incubation period, supress disease intensity, and reduce disease incident as 9,23, 75, and 53,57% respectively, and the increase plant height, dry weight of root, and weight of tubers as 24,86, 37,67, and 18,39% respectively.
