Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi larutan pulsing dan penambahan semprotan air jeruk nipis terhadap masa kesegaran bunga potong gerbera. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Agronomi Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman pada bulan Maret 2015. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu komposisi larutan pulsing A0: Air 300 ml ; A1 : Gula pasir 20 g/l + Clorox 1 ml/l + Asam cuka 1 ml/l, A2 : Gula pasir 40 g/l + Clorox 1 ml/l + Asam cuka 1 ml/l, A3 : Gula pasir 60 g/l + Clorox 1 ml/l + Asam cuka 1 ml/l, A4 : Gula pasir 30 g/l + Clorox 1 ml/l + Asam cuka 1 ml/l + Air jeruk nipis 3 ml/l, dan A5 : Gula pasir 30 g/l + Clorox 1 ml/l + Asam cuka 1 ml/l + Air jeruk nipis 6 ml/l. Faktor kedua adalah penambahan semprotan jeruk nipis yaitu tanpa semprotan jeruk nipis (P0) dan semprotan jeruk nipis (P1). Variabel yang diamati adalah total larutan pulsing yang terserap, total larutan holding yang terserap, persentase penambahan diameter bunga, penurunan diameter tangkai, warna bunga, saat bunga mulai layu dan masa kesegaran bunga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan komposisi larutan pulsing memberikan pengaruh terhadap total larutan pulsing terserap 19,66 ml, masa kesegaran 8,91 hari, penurunan diameter tangkai bunga 0,46 mm dan tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap variabel lain. Perlakuan penambahan semprotan jeruk nipis memberikan pengaruh lebih baik dibandingkan kontrol terhadap warna bunga yaitu dengan skor 4,07 dan tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap variabel lain. Interaksi perlakuan antara komposisi pulsing dan penambahan semprotan air jeruk nipis menunjukkan tidak adanya pengaruh terhadap semua variabel pengamatan.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)The study aims to determine effect of composition of the solution and addition pulsing spray lime water on cut flower vaselife gerbera period. Research conducted at the Laboratory of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Unsoed in March 2015. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design with three replications. The first factor is the composition of pulsing solutions A0: 300 ml water ; A1: sugar 20 g / l + clorox 1 ml / l + vinegar + 1 ml / l, A2: sugar 40 g / l + clorox 1 ml / l + vinegar + 1 ml / l, A3: sugar 60 g / l + clorox 1 ml /+ vinegar 1 ml / l, A4: sugar 30 g / l + Clorox 1 ml / l + vinegar 1 ml / l + lime water 3 ml / l, A5: sugar 30 g / l + clorox 1 ml / l + vinegar 1 ml / l + lime water 6 ml / l. The second factor is the addition of lime spray, which are without lime spray (P0) and spray lime (P1). Observed variables were the total of absorbed pulsing solution, the total of absorbed holding solution, the percentage of increase flowers’ diameter, the decrease stem diameter, flower’s color, when the flower’s were wilt and the vaselife of flower’s. The results showed the treatment effect of the composition of pulsing solutions give effect of the total absorbed pulsing solution 19.66 ml, 8.91 vaselife day period, a decrease of 0.46 mm diameter flower stalk and not give effect to the other variables. The addition of lime treatment sprays gives better effect than control of flower color that has a value of 4.07 and did not give effect to the other variables. The interaction between pulsing composition and the addition of lime water spray showed no effect of all the variables observed.
