| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendapatkan ketebalan media steril cocopeat yang terbaik bagi pertumbuhan dan produksi umbi kentang (G0), 2) mendapatkan frekuensi pemberian larutan nutrisi Sundstrom yang terbaik bagi pertumbuhan dan produksi umbi kentang (G0), dan 3) mendapatkan kombinasi perlakuan yang terbaik antara ketebalan media steril cocopeat dan frekuensi pemberian larutan nutrisi Sundstrom terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi umbi kentang (G0). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam screen house di Desa Pandansari, Kecamatan Paguyangan dari bulan Oktober 2014 sampai Januari 2015. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah ketebalan media dengan tiga taraf, yakni 10 cm (K1), 15 cm (K2), dan 20 cm (K3). Faktor kedua adalah frekuensi pemberian nutrisi dengan dua taraf, yakni 3 hari sekali (F1) dan 6 hari sekali (F2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Ketebalan media 20 cm memberikan pertumbuhan yang baik pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun tanaman dan dapat meningkatkan panjang akar hingga 23,67 %. 2) Frekuensi pemberian nutrisi 3 hari sekali memberikan pertumbuhan yang baik pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot tanaman segar, bobot tanaman kering, dan hasil yang baik pada efektifitas stolon (49,84 %), bobot umbi segar (137,85 g), dan bobot umbi kering (21,55 g). 3) Kombinasi ketebalan media 20 cm dengan frekuensi pemberian nutrisi 3 hari sekali memberikan pertumbuhan yang baik pada panjang akar, jumlah akar, dan hasil umbi mencapai 144 knol/m2. |

Inggris) | This research purposes are to 1) get the best thickness of the sterile cocopeat media for potato tuber (G0) growth and production, 2) know how much frequency of Sundstrom nutrient solution giving which is good for potato tuber (G0) growth and production, and 3) get the best combination of treatment between the thickness of sterile cocopeat media and frequency Sundstrom nutrient solution giving to the growth and production of potato tuber (G0). The research was carried in the screen house in Desa Pandansari, Kecamatan Paguyangan from October 2014 until January 2015. The research used Randomized Complete Block Design with 2 factor and 3 repetitions. The first factor was the thickness of media with three levels; 10 cm (K1), 15 cm (K2), and 20 cm (K3). The second factor was the frequency of nutrient solution giving with two levels; once for three days (F1) and once for six days (F2). The results of the research showed 1) that the thickness of sterile cocopeat media 20 cm (K3) was good for plant height, total of leaves, wide of plant leaves, and improve the roots length 23,67 %. 2) frequency of nutrient solution giving once for three days (F1) was good for plant height, total of leaves, wide of plant leaves, weight of fresh plant, weight of dry plant and the result was good for stolon effectiveness (49,84%), weight of fresh tuber (137,85 g), and weight of dry tuber (21,55 g). 3) The combination of sterile cocopeat media 20 cm and frequency of Sundstrom nutrient solution giving once for three days (F1) was good for roots length, total of roots, and able to produce as much as 144 tubers/m2. |
