Judul ArtikelPENGGUNAAN DEDAK PROBIOTIK DALAM RANSUM PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP BOBOT KARKAS DAN LEMAK ABDOMEN AYAM BROILER
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan dedak probiotik dalam ransum ayam broiler terhadap bobot karkas dan lemak abdomen. Materi penelitian menggunakan Ayam broiler yang dipelihara umur 1 hari sampai 35 hari sebanyak 80 ekor. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen in vivo dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah 4 macam, setiap perlakuan diulang 5 kali. Perlakuan terdiri dari R0= pakan kontrol, R1= pakan kontrol + dedak probiotik 5%, R2= pakan kontrol + dedak probiotik 10%, R3= pakan kontrol + dedak probiotik 15%. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji orthogonal polynomial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap bobot karkas (P<0,01) dan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap lemak abdomen (P>0,05). Rataan bobot karkas yaitu R0= 660,6 ± 105,1 g/ekor, R1= 777,6 ± 45,3 g/ekor, R2= 839,4 ± 10,7 g/ekor, R3= 866,4 ± 56,7 g/ekor. Hasil uji lanjut orthogonal polynomial perlakuan menunjukan respon kuadrater Y=684,12 + 13,584 dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (r2)=60,28%. Rataan bobot lemak abdomen yaitu R0= 19,2 ± 3,3 g/ekor, R1= 15,0 ± 4,0 g/ekor, R2= 17,2 ± 1,8 g/ekor, R3= 16,0 ± 4,3 g/ekor. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan dedak probiotik dalam ransum dapat meningkatkan bobot karkas, tetapi bobot lemak abdomen yang relatif sama.

Inggris)This research was aimed to evaluate the effect of bran probiotic in ration broiler chicken to abdominal fat and to know the effect of bran probiotic in ration broiler chicken to carcass weight. Research material using reared broiler chicken aged 1 day to 35 days as much as 80 heads. The research method is experimental in vivo with a completely randomized design (CRD). The treatment were given 4 kinds of rations, each treatment unit was repeated 5 times. The treatment consisted of R0 = control feed, R1 = control feed + 5% bran probiotic, R2 = control feed + 10% bran probiotic, R3 = control feed + 15% bran probiotic. The obtained data was analyzed using variance analysis and continued with orthogonal polynomial. The result showed that the treatment significant effect carcass weight (P<0,01) and no significant effect abdominal fat (P>0,05). The means carcass weight were R0= 660,6 ± 105,1 g/chicken, R1= 777,6 ± 45,3 g/chicken, R2= 839,4 ± 10,7 g/chicken, R3 = 866,4 ± 56,7 g/chicken. Further test results showed that treatment orthogonal polynomials was response treatment quadratic Y = 684.12 + 13.584 with the coefficient of determination (r2) = 60.28%.The means abdominal fat weight were R0 = 19,2 ± 3,3 g/chicken, R1= 15,0 ± 4,0 g/chicken, R2= 17,2 ± 1,8 g/chicken, R3= 16,0 ± 4,3 g/chicken. The conclusion research showed that the use of bran probiotic in ration can increase carcass weight, but the weight of abdominal fat were relatively same.
