Judul ArtikelIDENTIFIKASI OBJEK ALZHEIMER PADA CITRA AKSIAL MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGE (MRI) DENGAN METODE ACTIVE CONTOUR BERDASARKAN NILAI CLINICAL DEMENTIA RATING (CDR)
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Saat ini, terdapat banyak algoritma deteksi penyakit Alzheimer yang telah dikembangkan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengajukan penerapan metode active contour untuk aplikasi deteksi penyakit Alzheimer. Active contour mampu mengenali batas-batas tepi secara otomatis, sehingga dapat diketahui batas hypocampus penderita alzheimer dengan sel sehat. Visualisasi sel hypocampus dilakukan dengan mensegmentasi tiap potongan citra yang didapatkan dari OASIS (Open Access Series of Image Studies), selanjutnya tiap potongan citra dilakukan proses rekonstruksi hingga mendapat visualisasi citra hyppocampus secara dua dimensi. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) merupakan teknik pencitraan diagnostic yang sangat bermanfaat dalam mendeteksi dini perubahan abnormal pada jaringan dan organ yang tidak melibatkan paparan radiasi X-ray, karena teknik ini dapat memberikan informasi yang sangat jelas akan visualisasi struktur anatomi tubuh manusia. MRI memungkinkan mendeteksi kelainan otak, serta penilaian anatomi fungsional normal otak, yang tidak dapat dicapai dengan tekni pencitraan yang lain.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)There are a lot of alzheimer detection algorithms has been developed by researchers. In this research, the writer want to apply active contour method for application of detection Alzheimer desease. Active contor can be recognize the limits of edges automatically, so it can be known limits Alzheimer hippocampus with healthy cells. Hippocamus cell visualization is done by segmenting the image pieces obtained from the OASIS (Open Access Series of Image Studies), after that piece of the image visualization reconstruction process is carried out to obtain hippocampus image visualization in two dimensions. Magnetic Resonance Imaging ( MRI ) is a diagnostic imaging technique which is very useful for early detection of abnormal changes in tissues and organs that do not involve exposure to X - ray radiation, because this technique can provide very clear information would visualization of anatomical structures of the human body. MRI allows detection of abnormalities of the brain , as well as the Functional Assessment of normal brain anatomy , which can not be achieved with the other imaging techniques.
